Do you unplugged electrical appliances or just turn them off? Research shows that when people unplugged their electrical appliances saves more money from their electricity bill compare to your standard just turning off of the appliances, in my own understanding maybe its because electrical appliances consume some electricity though it is turned off because the electrical current in the outlet has live electrical current in it trap in the outlet and when something is plugged in it the current is released inside the appliances and just spread out inside the appliances just wasted inside. Right now every time I turn off the TV, Computer or the radio I always unplugged it after wards to save electricity or also decrease the change to start a fire if a rogue current happens to short circuit my appliances when it is plugged. How about you, do you start unplugging you electrical appliances? ^ ^

I got this idea from a discussion that was started on this site about a year ago. before that I never really thought about unplugging appliance. In the discussion it stated to unplug all unused appliance in rooms that you are not occupying often. For instance, lamps, electric clocks, anything that use electricity. As for my televisions and computer, refrigerator, and freezer. I never unplug those when I turn them off. I recently had a television to short circuit and burn out. Thank God I was at home during that time. You have the right idea to save on your electricity.

Hi. I don`t really unplug them. I think on long term that`s gonna harm your electronic things. I think I would almost die if my computer would not work because of this I would kill myself how stupid I was on trying to save some money. I only unplug them when there is a storm outside. Otherwise not. Standby is good for me. :)
