Jesus Christ is gay?

i think the reason why he said that was because only jesus feels for what he feels as being gay. he felt like only Jesus Christ understands what he's feeling. no other than Him.

It's ridiculous. Pro gay or anti-gay, the notion that Jesus was actually gay is a crock. I've also heard people say Jesus was black (Jesus was Jewish of course). I've heard people say he was married. It's all cr*p. It has no basis in facts.

hi careguarden no I had not heard until now, and lately I have heard much more than I c are to hear about what people said about what Elton JOhn said, we all act like the only p eople worth anything in the US are actors or stars, how about the real people who actually do good for all of us. I enjoy Elton Johns singing but I am so sick of public figures like that being looked to like God on earth. Like Lamb said maybe Elton was using the word gay in its original meaning. As for me what singers, and models and movie stars say does not mean one silly thing to me. Now a researcher who has found some cures for cancer may speak and I would actually listen to him otherwise forget it. those public figures are not my heroes.

hi there caregurden, what was written in the bible the verse, words etc is always mis interpreted by Jesus Critics and non believers. I have faith in Jesus. I dont care what may others say about Jesus as long as I believe and have faith in him. For those who are non believers and says that Jesus is a gay, well its your opinion. I find it ridiculous. Jesus went on to be with Mary Magdalene and have children. Elton John should probably look at his Bible and historical fact before making such judgments. He was certainly a compassionate and super intelligent man. Nowhere did he have an inappropriate relationship with a man. Jesus was above the rest. He is God's "right hand man"

If this is what Elton John said and how he said it than you can be sure he meant it as homosexual and not happy. The term gay has lost the meaning of being "happy" since homosexuals, or whoever decided it, starting being called gay. Based upon that fact, as Elton John is homosexual and has stated it as such a very long time ago, I am sure that he meant it to be this way. Where he ever got that from I'll never know. I think Elton John is trying to make is own lifestyle okay by bringing Christ into his conversation as a gay man. Nowhere will he find anything to support this fiction. That Christ was compassionate, extremely intelligent and understood human problems, I have no doubt. But although He walked as a man, He was God's Son sent to earth to die for our miserable sins.

Hello guarden, I believe that the original meanign of gay is happy. there's a lot of meaning to gays just like what lamby mentioned. i don't take it as an offensive since he is teh son of god after all and understands our perceptions of him. he's kind, passionate and full of love to us.

I have not read this magazine you're talking about but if it's true that Sir Elton John said that maybe he's just trying to impose double meaning to what he said. Gay doesn't always mean homosexual. Gay is also synonymous with happy. So maybe he meant "happy man" and not "homosexual man". But I'm not sure. shadow41

I deffinately do not agree with this statement. It is written in the bible something about homosexuals, but I am not certain what it is. Anyway the homosexuals were destroyed. In present day it is not our place to judge unless the person that is being judged is out spoken about their issues.

I do not agree with Elton John, and I condemn him for uttering such disparaging remarks against Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is such an important figure whether you are Christian., belong to another religoin or agnostic. Everybody seems to perceive Jesus Christ in the way he wants. However I don't agree with Elton John that Jesus was gay. There is nothing in the Bible that he had homosexual relationships.

Jesus took all the pain for us but He was happy despite all He went through just to open the doors of Heaven for us, the rest is left to us.. and yeah Elton John is 'gay' in straight words .. unfortunately the word 'gay' now means 'homosexual' more than anything else

Who is Elton John? After all he is a human and he must have some idea if his talk related to scriptures. But I hope these are his own words.. May be the word gay might not be wrong but my point is... Is there no other word in English language to explain Jesus? No man can judge who God is.... May be some Elton John words heard big to humans but he is dust when compared to God almighty. No one can speak about Jesus who came to this earth just for the sake of human beings to have eternal life in His kingdom. So, there is no point in speaking or arguing about God i.e., away from scriptures.... I never justify a human talk about God which never related to scriptures.... It is my 2 cents...
