Have you ever seen a koala? This is my first koala that I have seen live. On my way to Apollo bay and the twelve apostles we saw a crowed gathered around a tree. I stopped the car took my digital camera on and shot this photo. Koalas are gentle creatures. I hope that they will never come into extinction. Have you ever seen a koala in real?

I've seen koalas, but only at the zoo, and it has been a long time since I've seen one. They are so cute! How nice that you got to see one up close like that!

I have never seen a Koala in real life. I LOVE visiting zoos and wild life, etc though, so maybe some day I will have the chance to see one. Koalas aren't an animal that you see in zoos very often. At least not in any of the zoos around here!

Yes, I have seen wild koalas on Magnetic Island in Queensland. It was a very special experience. It is much easier to see wild kangaroos. I loved traveling in Australia and seeing all the unique wildlife. I believe the koala is a protected animal so I hope it will be around forever.

hi ronaldinu as I said I have never been to austalia but my hubby and I many years back went to this small pet shop that apparently was going out of business for one thing they were in trouble over selling some exotic animals as pets that were not legal to have in Arizona, well as I was standing there with my husband I heard a swishing noise by my left ear and this adorable creature was hanging onto my neck and sitting on my shoulders, I was frozen in the spot, not knowing just what the little fellow was, and he was a koala bear. oh he was so cute, and cuddly. and I was all set to take him home, but he was one of the creatures there that was against the law for Arizona homeowners tohave as a pet. That s when I fell in love with Koalas, so read up on them, and one time at a rummage sale my husband this little brown stuffed Animal that was so real lookkinjt ihave my little koala sitting here

Nah, i have never seen a koala in real because they are only available in australia!! hehe ^_^ koalas are cute because of it's color and petite size.. Plus, the way they are always hugging the tree, together with their soft eyes, makes them so desirable as well!! lol =D How i wish i can have a koala as a pet instead! hehe

Hey ronaldinu! How lucky you are to have seen a beautiful creature like the Koala! I have always thought that they are one of the most adorable creatures! They are so cute! I would love to see one up close! I have seen them at the zoo, but that still isn't the same! And I pray that they never come into extinction either because they are just too beautful and sweet to become extinct! They are one of the most precious creatures ever! I just love their cute little faces! I wish I could cuddle one so badly!

haven't seen a koala before. Just on t.v. hahaha! Well, I have a koala key chain that my friend got me when they went to Australia. I bet they are cute. I've seen "tarsiers" before here in the Philippines. They are very small with big eyes and exotic and cute like koala.

Hi I've never seen a koala. Maybe in the future I'd be able to see one in real life. I love animals and wild life as long as they don't bite :)

Koala - Koala from somewhere along the Great Ocean Road
Yes, and in nearly exactly the same place! If not exactly the same place? I visited a friend a couple of years ago, she was studying in Adelaide. I have another friend in Wollongong, so we drove to Melbourne and took the place to Sydney. We stopped on a lot of places along the road, one of them a place with lot of koalas. We stopped at the parking place and, just as you, noticed some people standing under a tree. Turned out this koala was sleeping in it, and there was a kookaburra in the same tree! Afterwards we drove up a road and saw several other koalas, all sleeping in the trees.
