Hi Gany - this is a good site. Hang in there. Paypal problem will truly be resolved, in a couple of months. Why dont you earn a tidy amount by the time? It will be credited to your paypal account. Worst come worst served, you might be given the balance in form of a check. So dont leave mylot just yet. :) Have a nice time. :)

Hi yugasini, a week or so ago, Binthu started a discussion, and in that she gave a link in which the Paypal authority for the region did suggest that if anybody wants the amounts, they can write to paypal, and get the amounts out in cheque! You will of course incur about 5 dollars for the cheque! And it may take paypal about a month to send the cheque, and thereafter another month for you to cash it. :) In all, about two months approximately. :) I'll try to locate the link.

"It has always been possible for sellers to request a check and this option is still available from the Withdraw Money tab of your PayPal account. It usually takes five to seven working days for you to receive a check when you request a check withdrawal and PayPal normally charges a five USD fee. We are trying our best to help sellers during this difficult time and therefore will refund the check withdrawal fee back to your PayPal account within a week. I appreciate that this is not ideal, but please bear with us." That is the paragraph from that blog. :) May be you can ask for the cheque. :) Hope somebody who knows something about Paypal comes here, and explains in greater detail. :)

Yugasini.I have transferred some amount to paypal and this is neither seen in my bank account nor in my paypal account.I am only optimisitc thta it will definitely come back to my paypal some day.Till then I just intend waiting. Do not do anything in a hurry.I am sure the problem would be sorted out.Our hard earned money would not leave us and it will not come to our hands until the time it si fated to.Why fret after taking efforts?Don't worry.WHat has to happen will happen.

Yugasinigaru, this requires some work and may incur some bank charges also. So you need a friend, who can bear this extra work, charges etc. Now-a-days everyone is very busy and have their own work to be attended to. Our asking this sort of help itself is too much I feel. You have to either buy some article for that amount or wait and see. This issue will get solved soon.

Hai Yugasinigaru, I am not withdrawing my money from paypal. It is less only. So I will wait till the problem gets solved. Or we can purchase something from ebay or any other site. But I have not thought over it. When did you come to Bangalore? I was away from mylot for a while due to some domestic disturbances. Have a nice day.

i am puzzled why paypal procedure now is making it difficult for the indian members of mylot to get their money earned from various sites when in fact, it used to be very easy for them before. does it mean that now it needs to make several transfers and too much charges from their hard earnings. if one earns $10 from mylot for a month, how much is deducted from it for charges - half? i sympathies with you people, but i really hope that you can withdraw it with lesser charges or none at all. ann

Actually tigeraunt, it wont be that high if you let the monies accumulate and then withdraw. If you are willing to wait for a about five months for the amount to come down to the rates they were previously, it would be worthwhile. That is because charges for 10 dollars and 50 dollars or more are the same. Either way you incur only 5 dollars towards check. So why not wait. May be Paypal issue will be resolved in a couple of months. :)
