Sneaky cam...not!

Is that a traffic camera peering at you hoping to catch you speeding down the motorway to then send you a pricey ticket in the mail? It certainly looks like it! Nope...it's an innocent bird box, or a home for birds.

This lying little home for finches has been almost as effective as the real deal in slowing down the speeders who cruise double the speed limit in the little road. Officials ignored pleas by the locals to have a genuine cam put in to catch speed bandits, so a retired cop decided to take matters unto his own birdy real estate.

Yea, but there is still the "Oh crap, I am going too fast, I'm not SURE if that is in fact the fake cam or not, do I want to take the chance that's a birds' nest...nah, I think I better be safe than sorry and slow it down," factor that will remain, even though the 'secret' flew the coup.

Well that is a great yet sneaky trick! Hmm, I think the cop knew what he was doing, though from the little I read he says it's merely a coincidence! Great idea!

That little fib is for the birds. Sounds like this cop knew exactly what he was doing; he got sick of speeding, couldn't get satisfaction from his local government, and took matters into his birdhouse!

It is a sneaky...or rather tweety idea. I wonder who else will put out such an abode for finches. It will put a flap into wrong-doers...
