If one day, when you take taxi, you ind the black bag on the backseat, you are curious and open the bag carefully,to see there are dozen of USD,about ten thousand,in the economy recession today, one thousand is a big help, what will you do? Don'tmove the money, work as nothing happened?Call 110 and get the police handle?Tell the driver and ask if the money is his?Take the money as yours calmly?Or...?The fight between heart and moral, who will be the winner? If this thing happens on you, what about your choice, welcome to talk about.

I think I would take the money with me and find the owner of the money on my own. Police or driver may be tempted to keep the money, so it won't reach the actual owner. But on the other hand, I don't know, how would I behave in such situation. One thing is certain - I would take it with me. Perhaps I would wait a little bit to see if the owner of money comes out. If it's a bad or filthy rich person, then I would keep the money and use it for my own needs.

Wow that is big money, I would be scared, I think! I'd ask the driver to help me take it back to his last passenger. That would be too much money for me to just runaway with.

I would ask the driver if the money was his. If he said it wasn't then I would give him a monster tip like half the money. Then I would give half of what I had left away because I feel like any gift of money like that to you is meant to be shared. It would be hard to get the actual person to claim their money at the police station if there was that much money in it.

...Hi there pengyachu, Hmmmm, anyone who was carrying that much money around will know just about where they left it. I watch a lot of television movies. So, my first thought would be that it belongs to criminals, especially if there is no identification inside the bag. So barring no identification, I would not tell the driver, but I would call the cab company and see if I can find out if anyone was looking for the bag, with the individual providing a decripition of the bag. If so, I would meet them in broad daylight in a crowded place, give them their money back and go on my way. Found money could get you in a lot of trouble. I would not want to be tracked by anyone looking for their money that they think I have. "o) Take care.

Of course, contact details first. If there were none, then it's fair game. Of course, the driver gets some of the cut, too.

This is tricky situation but i would try my best to return the money to its righteous owner probably contacting the police and getting the person and handing the money back.

WOW how lucky would I feel :-D However, I would have to check and see if there was a contact name and address to try and return it first. If there is no contact details then I would probably have to think very carefully about what action to take next. That amount of money would solve a lot of my problems right now, pay off my debts and bills and help to pay for my wedding.

Well... it would be EXTREMELY tempting to take the money. I'd think - well, whoever hasn't noticed that A HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS is missing... probably doesn't need it. But its not mine to decide that. Then I'd think "WOW! This would pay off all kinds of debt and give me the money I need to get somet hings fixed/upgraded at home, etc" then i'd probably thing... but its not mine to decide that. Then I'd worry about the fact that if I turned it into the police, say the owner came around and said well... there was TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND there... where's my other 100K. Then they'd be looking at me! (that actually happened to my dad. He found a wallet that had $300 bucks in it... and he found the guys' ID and returned it to the man's house - and the man asked where the other $200 was... my dad was dumbfounded!... but sorry... I don't really know what happened after that) I don't know. I always worry about the "what ifs".... and those can work either direction. I guess we'll just have to wait until I accidently sit on $100K and I'll let you know what I do.

how lucky i am if thats the case lol. first of course ill check if theres contact info inside and make sure that they are really the owner coz maybe they also took it from someone else. so i will not tell them theres money left but find or gather as much info to make sure they really owned the money. if theres none then i will use it lol. i will not goin gto surrender it to police coz maybe they will just going to use it knowing that theres no info about the owner of the money. maybe its a gift from god for me if ever. and if use it, i will put up business and half of it i will give to charity. if ever.

Wow! that's a lot of money. Now, who would carry around that much money in a black bag?It sounds suspicious..hm mm.. you guys are right, I'll also look for a contact information inside the bag, and if there is none, then likely that money is stolen. I'll keep my eyes and ears peeled on the tv or radio to hear about any news regarding the lost money and if ther is, that's when I'll turnover the money. and if not, I'll be very very suspicious and keep the money but not spend it yet.

I would take the bag home and call the taxi service to ask them if someone lost a bag to contact me. Sometimes police and others may not be so honest and keep it. It would disturb me greatly wondering if the person got the money back or not.
