Do you think they might take Gissi????????
It is in the USA so when he disrupts the Day care they can't bring him home, they have to keep him till Night, hehehehe
Can you imagine Gissi in a Doggie Day Care???????
Ok I am only joking I could never let the little Man go it was bad enough the Day he was in Hospital, I was lost without the little Man lol
Would you give your Dog into a Doggie Day Care

The only reason I don't have a dog is because I travel too much.
I couldn't take a dog with me and I wouldn't leave him in a dog motel.
If I ever stop travelling, I'll have a dog and I won't leave him anywhere.

Gissi, of course you could come and live with me - but I doubt you would survive the trip. Firstly you would have to spend a whole day and night flying to get here, and then they would keep you in quarantine for a couple of months! Besides, you are about to embark on a new adventure, moving to a new home and making new friends. You will love it, and I'm sure you will also enjoy helping Mum to UNpack those boxes!

There was one of those near my job before I retired.
No, I don't "love" my dog enough to pay for one of those, but I guess if I had a dog that had separation issues AND the money, I might try one.
As it is, when the weather isn't too vile, they stay in the backyard...

I had to laugh when I read this, could you imagine Gissi in one of those places, he'd run amok! Trouble is they'd fall in love with him and they'd might refuse to hand him back over to you. Naturally he'd have to have all his pillows, doggie treats and be pampered, thoroughly pampered, he's an extra special doggie and I think he deserves 5 star treatment, not sure if these Doggie Day Care centres could provide that and besides Gissi is Royalty and Royalty do not condescend to staying at doggie day centres, they have their own palace at home with their mums x

No way, on a normal basis could I. If I was still working I might be able to so they would not be alone while I'm working but I'd use the one that has web service so you can see them any time that you wish to. I'd be able to look in on them any time to check on them.

He went to the vet today. I am backing out on what I was going to do. I just can't do it. The vet said today that much of his pain is due to the surgery, so will he be much better in a few weeks? I just don't know. Plus they gave him not more than 2 months to be here. I have prayed lit candles and anything else I could do. I know it's all up to a higher power. And that's the way it will be. I'll have him with me as long as he can be.
Am I wrong in this? Am I being selfish? Mother thinks it's selfish to keep them hanging on while they are in such bad pain.
My grandmother is still with us. I don't know for how long. She did not know any of us. When we went to leave she got so upset. She wanted to go home too!

That's what is so hard watching him go through the pain he is in all of the time. It does not matter about the pain meds, they don't seem to be working and they said this is the strongest they can give him.
It's going to be hard enough to have them put him to sleep when the time does come. But watching him go through this bad pain is really hard too.
I will keep you up to date on him and my grandmother. Thank so much for caring, I mean really caring.

Gissi might have fun at Doggie Day Care for about an hour. Then he would want to go somewhere else to make friends. I think Gissi would do better with a private sitter or a nanny. He is such a people person.
P.S. I am in Arizona today at my son's house.

Hey Gabs! Yes, we do have Doggie Day Care here in the US! And
I am sure that as adorable as Gissi is, he might be one of the
first dogs to get thrown out of one! I could just see him now!
He would have all the other dogs barking and misbehaving and
you would get a phone call to come and get him right away!
And then his picture would be sent around to all the other
Doggie Day Cares and he wouldn't be allowed ever to enter one
again!
I love you Gissi!

People are doing everything with their pets. Some drop them up so they won't be lonely others are dropt off because the owners are afraid that their house will be a wreck when they get home.. Some are dropped off for training...Go figure...
They are our kids after all..
