which would you prefer?

which would you prefer? - recently, our house got burned down and nothing was left except for those easy-to carry things. that time, was also my graduation year and it was really hard fo me. hard for my family to start again and of course, as a student, was vey hard for the whole of me and my siblings to start again in school. though, our house got ashed up, we're still happy because none of our neighbors were affected by the raging fire. if the firefighters could have just come earlier, our house would not have been devoured by the fire that easily. we were just there, looking as the fire ate up our whole house.

from there then on, i believed in the saying that it's better that someone robs you rather than a house gets fired down.

hi! i just have a very simple question for you guys and i want to know your opinion. recently, our house got burned down and nothing was left except for those easy-to-carry things. that time, was also my graduation year and it was really hard for me. hard for my family to start again and of course, as a student, was very hard for the whole of me and my siblings to start again in school. we need to buy new clothes and every things needed in school. though, our house got ashed up, we're still happy because none of our neighbors were affected by the raging fire. if the firefighters could have just come earlier, our house would not have been devoured by the fire that easily. we were just there, looking as the fire ate up our whole house. from there then on, i believed in the saying that it's better that someone robs you rather than a house gets fired down.

What if the robber robs your house and then set it on fire?

I hope that i don't have to go through what your family went through. But if i have to choose i would choose to get robbed than experience my house on fire. i still recall the time when Typhoon Ondoy hit where everything in the house got wet. I lost a lot of appliances but the good thing is most just got wet and most work after it dired up. The house is still intact. We just have to wash the clothes and let it dry. After a week or two, everything was back to normal as if nothing happened. But i'm sure it's not going to be the same if it was fire that hit us.

oh! i still recall that Ondoy disaster. so glad that everything's fine now. anyways, i agree with you that it's better get robbed than the other since what you lost maybe just a single piece and can be easily replaced. unlike if you're house got burned. you have to start all over again.

i have a similar experience a few years ago it was really hard at first but when you look back you will see yourself better now than before.with regards about the saying that its better that someone robs you than get the house burned down.i would choose that my house get burned down because that way i know were my things are going and its into ashes rather than let other bad people harvest your hard earned money.

Hi jbaunillo, Oh my, I wouldn't want to experience any of them - a home getting burned, or a house being burglarized. That would be choosing between two evils, and I don't think that one is better than the other. But I must admit that being robbed is less traumatic than seeing your house reduced to ashes.
