Some magazines carry information that goes out of date quickly. Items such as science I guess. I keep all of my Runner's World magazines. They are always good to go back to once in awhile. There are training tips and diet tips that are very good. REader's Digest and such don't ever go out of date either. SO do you toss yours? REcycle them? or keep them?

When I was younger I kept all of my magazines, and I had a lot of them. I often bought German magazines, and I read them several times. I studied German at school and the magazines helped me learn new words. Now I don't keep my magazines. I have moved many times, and each time I move I toss old magazines and things like that. I am an artist and some of my paintings are a mixture of paint and pictures from old magazines. Before I toss old magazines I usually flip through them to see if there are any pictures that I want to keep. If I find some interesting articles I also keep them so that I can read them again later.

The art is a good idea too. I used to keep magazines more when I taught school. That way the pictures and even some of the letters could be used for all sorts of different activities! I also kept magazines around for my students to read.

I do keep certain cut-out section of magazines, when i decided to toss the magazines. Every month, i will spend a few hours doing the cut-out on certain section of the magazines, for my future reference. For example, the healthy and beauty care tips, diet tips, home DIY tips, and even the recipes. I will keep those cut-outs in a scrap book. So, whenever i want to refer on certain topic, i will take out the book. Only those unwanted section of the magazines, then i will toss them away.

i do something similar. I just store the cut outs in plastic sleeves in a ringed binder. That's pretty much what I do too, only I keep all my runner's world magazines.

I do have one or two Kerrang Mags and also lots of WWE and Classic Rock Magazines, and WWE is usually £3.95 and Classic Rock is around £4.99...so they are a lil' to picey to throw aways, but I also like to look back at stroies and articles as interest.

I kept all magazines and books I bought even after reading because I always cherished books and magazines and put those things in my collection. Someday if I have my own house, I will set one room as a study area of a mini-library to put all my magazines and book collections.

I get a lot of magazines in the mail. Some of them I keep for a while, some I get rid of shortly after reading. A lot of times I cut articles out of the magazines that I'd like to read again or remember something about instead of keeping the entire magazine. I like to sell my magazines at a local used book store. They don't give ya much but I like knowing that it's a way to recycle them for someone else to read them. I should look into donating them to a local doctor's office or something. Anything like that would be better than just throwing them away!

I cut out stuff I want to save too. I keep them in plastic sleeves in a notebook. I keep them categorized and all together. Every once in awhile I pull it out and peruse through them.

Books and magazines are two things I can never part with although I must say they have made a heap in my house.Nonetheless I love storing magazines. Each one has something interesting in it that is worthy of reading back again at times.I normally flip through old magazines whenever I feel the urge.As you said in some I have found certain exercises, doctor's remedies, skincare solutions and engaging articles that are really helpful. Also a number of innovative recipes are found in some magazines in the cooking section, which I love to read and experiment with.I have stored some magazines in my drawing room too which visitors can flip through when they come to my place.

I know a few magazines have real good articles about health and such. I usually cut out what I want and categorize it and put it in a notebook with things I want to keep. But I keep more than I toss!
