I have a strict morning routine. I never realized this until this very moment. I wake up at 5:30 a.m.. I immediately head to the bathroom so I can do my hair, brush my dappers, and go to the bathroom. I then get dressed. Grab the trash and go out to the car. Same thing Every day. Seven days a week. We wait for my neighbor and we all go to coffee at Dunkin Donuts. Here's where I like to spice it up a little. lol. Monday thru Friday we go to Dunkin Donuts only. Saturday and Sunday, however, we go get breakfast at McDonalds. When I go to Dunkins I order the exact same thing every time I go there. The workers even know my order. I get a sausage and egg croissant with no cheese and a large cup of ice. At McDonalds I order sausage egg McGriddle with no cheese. I have this routine timed as well. Up at 5:30 my neighbor calls at 6 we leave by 6:10 home by 6:50. I am sooo predictable. This must be a sign that Im getting older. Do you have a morning routine? dl

My morning routine is to wake up at 4:30 a.m on weekdays and 5:30 a.m. on sat.,sun., and on holidays. Directly head to the bathroom to brush my teeth and take a bath and then dressed up. Then prepare food for family's breakfast. Done 32 days a month.lol. It's my life.

Yeah, you're right dloveli, I'm a wife and a parent. I'm not irritated with my job now maybe boredom but I feel it very seldom coz I know how to play already. I'll take my coffee while I'm doing my chores. I'll do mylotting preferably in the afternoon, sometimes in the evening if my daughter have no school assignments. Thanks for your advise dloveli.

Well, I don't exactly have a morning routine right now as it is my summer vacation. I just spend a few minutes thinking and lying on my bed when I wake up in the morning. And then I get up, find something to eat and then watch tv, have some coffee. I guess that's my routine every morning. Sometimes, when I wake up very late, it changes.

I don't have a strict morning routine at all. I get up whenever I feel like it the majority of the time. Then, I don't have a set thing that I like to have for breakfast, but I always try to eat a little something for breakfast in the morning. I suppose the only thing that is strict about my morning routine is that I have to have a caffeinated drink first thing when I wake up in the morning. If I don't have my caffeine, then there is no one that would want to be around me at all.

I know Dorann Im sickening! Every morning monday thru friday I eat a sausage, egg on a croissant. On the weekeneds its Mcgriddles with no cheese please. I have a set routine and to be honest I have no idea why. You, I envy, because it sounds so carefree. Im sure you have worries but you can deal better when you're relaxed. I hope all is well with you and your family. Have a good day. dl

I definitely have a morning routine. My alarm goes off at 5:30 am. I brush my teeth and hop in the shower, I get dressed and do my hair. Then I wake up my daughter, give her a bath iron her clothes and get her dressed. While she is getting dressed I make up her bed and mine, and fix her breakfast. Once she is dressed and eating breakfast I wake up my son and give him a bath and get him dressed. By the time I finish dressing him my daughter is done eating and I brush both of their teeth, clean up any stray toys, make sure all school forms are signed, feed my son breakfast, pack my lunch for work then we are out the door. I have to be out of the house and in the car by 7:00 am if not then I will definitely be late for work.

I'm very predictable in the mornings only on weekdays..weekends is another story.. I get up everyday at 5:20am..yes even 10 minutes earlier makes a difference especially if want to wash my hair and then I need to blow dry it afterwards. It works for the most part except when my husband "intrudes" my routine and gets in the shower before me and takes for ever. I get a good shower and I don't take that long only when I need to wash my hair maybe. Sometimes I tell him, "hey let me go first you take too long anyway". He says it's because he needs the hot water to relax his back muscles and stuff. Anyway..if I go first, then I fix myself breakfast. Don't get dressed yet because the clothes might get ruined while I'm cooking breakfast. I love to hear the silence in the house while I eat my breakfast...it's so comforting and relaxing. One of the highlights of my day..I know I have a boring life. . Most of the time I eat breakfast in front of the computer and then since it's early I come here sometimes. After that at 6:20 or 6:30 I wake up my kids and fix them breakfast. They take a long time to eat so I have to wake them early. I don't like rush and I don't want them to have hectic morning before they go school. While they are eating I fix their school lunches and get their clothes ready. Then, they go to the bathroom they pee and brush their teeth and I help them get dressed. THEN, I get dressed, put makeup on etc. Many times we have 10 minutes spare time and I let them watch tv etc and I sit on the computer while I wait. Then around 7:30 - 7:35 or so I take them to school which is near my house which is a plus. The next day the same thing. Don't ask me the routine on the weekends hehehe. Those are my days to break the rules and be disorganized lol hahaha.

I set my alarm clock for 6:30 am. My clock is set 15 minutes ahead. I hit the snooze button twice. I get up finally and go straight to the coffee pot. I have a cup of coffee before I can do anything else. I am not a morning person to say the least. My daughter is 8 so she gets up and dressed on her own. I fix my children breakfast. I jump in the shower after my 3 year has finished eating breakfast. Then I get my 3 year old dressed. I get the kids in the car and take my daughter to school. I come back home and have some more coffee.

I don't have any morning routine. When I'm in college I do have some but I won't do it always.Just bathing , sometime I take breakfast, then drink coffee and go to college. This all normal things for everyone i think. Now I just browse in the morning, sleep, listen music..all mixed up and not in a routine. It is difficult for me to follow something. So I'm not having any routine morning work..

I do have the same routine everyday. It is just to get up, bathroom, make coffee, make my son's breakfast with his meds. Sit at the computer, 15 minutes, go get my son up and around, take him to the bus. Start at 5:30, done at 6:40.

Having a routine is not determining factor of growing old at all. You just be careful someone could easily penetrate your life if one would actually put you on a surveillance. Don't fear though I have only seen it in movies. As long as you enjoy what you are doing then even it's predictable and following a routine it wouldn't be boring at all No matter how hard I think I don't remember doing something in routine every morning except for checking if my downloads are finished

i have my daily routine, all the same thing from monday to friday or only when there is office. i have 2 days rest, saturday and sunday. i wake-up more or less at 7 but no later than 7:30. when i wake-up, i go make my cup of coffee with sugar and cream if there's available. good thing if there is ready hot water in the thermos but if none, i get the kettle and boil some, just enough for my cup. after the coffee, it's bath time and then change clothes for the office. i leave home at 8.

Yes I do. I wake up at 6:30, eat breakfast, have a shower, browse the web for a bit, get dressed and leave for University at 8:30. This is my daily routine, and I feel it is starting to get a bit monotonous

I do not have a morning schedule. I am usually still up in the morning and sometimes don't even go to bed until 5,6,or 7am. at times. Usually I am up by around 12 or 1 and shower and go online. Exciting life. I have sever depression and alot of stress and/or anxiety makes it very difficult for me to get to sleep so it really depends.

I do have at 6am in the morning I go take a bath, after 20 mins of fixing everything from taking bath to get dressed, my mother will prepare my breakfast and I eat it. At quarter before 7am I will be fixing my hair and put some make ups if I feel like too and i live at home at 7am. I do transport to work and I drop by on 7-11 or any Convenient Store I will see on the road to buy coffee and I will transport again going to my workplace. I will be arriving at work before 8am and then at the office I will have a coffee again to check my emails.

WOW! Dint think you'd actually wake up every morning. I mean, really... You're amazing. You all are... I'm impressed by all of you. Unbelievable. Do you know people have choked on hotdogs? Junk food? Nah, that's outright dangerous. There's a ban-hotdog movement out there... (Apparently no one told them they need to eat slow-ly.)
