Suppose your life was in danger and the Only way to save it was to leave your home and All your belongings and flee to another country. could you do it? Me? I don't think so. It is not that I think America is The Best. I am not That Arrogant. It is that It is home.It is where all my dreams came true and true I would be alive somewhere else but I wouldn't be Living. How about you?

I love my country. It's small. I feel safe. I am native here. This is where I belong! But if my life was in danger or that of my family I am ready to leave everything behind me and head to safety to another country. I don't care where as long as my family is safe.

Hi sarah my friend, It's not that I think Philippines is the best too... but I found my life here already... my family, my friends, my love ones... you know my friend, in cases like this, I would become too emotional... because I don't want to be away with the home I first saw light and nurtured me to what I am now... and I owe them my care, my love... maybe I would be brave enough to face it... and if I die, I would be happy... my soul would go straight ahead to where it belong because I know, at the last day of my life, I show courage, and I never leave the home who nurtured me for years...

Hello Sarah! I think it is a hypothetical situation. I wish that I or any of my family member never faces this kind of horrifying situation in my/our life/lives. I live in a vastly large country and in a huge Metropolitan city, therefore, if I happen to face such kind of adverse and odd situation, firstly I would try to move to other parts of my city, if feasible. If that is not possible, I would go to nearby States or if that is also not possible, I would go to a farther State in my own country, wherein I could survive. Chances of leaving my own country appear very remote to me and if this happens, I would like to die in my own country rather than fleeing it. I love my country.

I feel Exactly the same. It is my home. I rather die at home. True I would live longer somewhere else but would I Truly be happy? I don't think so.

To leave my country, probably not, I would head for the wilds of Alaska if I wanted to hide from danger that may be chasing me. A couple of months ago I went to a fund raiser that spotlighted the lost boys from darfur..as I listened to their testimony and their fight to reach our country, I was amazed and humbled by their courage and strength..I don't know as I could be that strong.

I know I am not that strong. If I had to leave One record of movie behind , I would die!

If there is really no choice, then probably I will... I already did it, but only here in my country..From my hometown to another city at first I don't like it, but my mom says that I need to be with my husband's place, so now I'm here

Another reason why I never married. I would never leave my home town to live with him. I can see geeting our own place withinmy city but to leave? Never.

If that ever happens I'll bring my loved ones with me so we could start in another country or place. It doesn't really matter where you're born for as long as you have your loved one with you. It'll be hard transferring to another place but you'll have the support of loved ones.

I would definitely be sad about it, but if it was a matter of safety for me and my family, I would do it in a heart beat. Who knows, I might like a new country even better than I like the US!

i leaving no choice then perhaps i will as if other other can do that then perhaps me too. and if theres good future waiting for me in that country then why not. i also love my country coz this is where my family and friends live and so this is where i made a lot of memories with. but just only if leave no choice then i will, besides i can bring my family with me there and start to live a new life with other people since they are also human like me so why not.

I've done this a couple of times. Not really the dramatic life-in-danger sort of way, just the regular leave-my-home type. When I was 16, I went to a different city to go to university. It was an hour and a half plane ride away, but I still went home twice a year. 16 years later, I again moved to the northwest to give my family a new start. I don't get to go home often, and I miss it. So even now, I always have that feeling of just trying to live and survive where I am. But I know someday, I'll go home and live there maybe permanently.

There are situations in life when you have to start building the castle from the basement.Yes it's a lot of emotion plays under the hood because it's my birth place,it's my everything-a witness of all sad and happy moments of my life so far.But who can say that the best part do not belong to the next stay?

No. I do not think that I could either. This is my home and where I feel happy.
