contests

do you regularly seek out contests to enter or just enter them randomly? i have heard of a lady who enters a number of contests every day and usually ends up winning a least one prize almost every week! i do visit a lot of frugal living websites and enter contests that interest me but i have never won anything! have you? what did you win?

Some people are just lucky. I have never won anything when I join contest from newspaper cuttings. Maybe lady luck is not smiling at me yet.

No, I don't enter many contest, but I do take surveys. Once I took a survey and was entered into a sweepstakes, I won $100. That was a nice surprise! But I normally don't enter contest because I don't want all of the spam mail attached to most of those sites. Well, that is the only thing that I have really won worth mentioning.

Good morning cher...I know of many persons that almost make a career out of "contesting"....but most of the time, if there is a contest, and go to the site or the link, my "mcAfee site advisor" tells me that it is an unsafe site...so that worries me about security...and secondly, I find in the fine print, Open Only to Residents of the USA. What do you know about the safety of lots of the contest sites? Have a great weekend...and Cheers!
