Hi, friends!
I'm glad to say that finally I have a job :) I'm really happy about it! The reason I'm sharing this with you is that Mylot helped me in some way! Let me tell you my successful story.
I was invited for interview in a call center. And I had to pass 3 interviews to be accepted. The first one was in Bulgarian language with a girl from the HR team. Then I had an English interview with another girl. Finally I had to pass the last one which was on the telephone with the boss who's in England. And I passed :) One of the most important questions was did I ever had a chance to communicate in English with native English speakers. I told them about my experience, and I also mentioned that I write in a site called Mylot, and some other sites too. They said that it's great and also asked me to show them something. I showed them some of my discussions, the replies and etc. And they liked it, actually.
Finally they accepted me and my first day will be at 15th February. I think that Mylot helped somehow :) Isn't it?

This job came at the right moment, really! I was in bad period. After a two months I'll be on my feet again. I'm also glad that I'll have the chance to go to Sonisphere Festival in Sofia at 22-23 June. Almost all my favorite bands will perform! Just great news :)

I share your happiness. Congratulations! This is a great news for all to read. Being active in mylot sure has given you an added advantage over the other candidates who applied for the job. Maybe you can also invite your interviewers to join mylot. LOL As most of us don't have English as our mother's tongue, coming to mylot has boost our confidence in using this language. We are forced to think and write in English spontaneously in many instances like responding and creating discussions. This is one way of learning English and reading others discussions add to our bank of English words. It is not surprising that one day we will be as eloquent as the native speakers.

Congratulations on getting the job!
That is a great way that you could promote MyLot and maybe get some referrals too. Even in the call center where you will be working there might be some who would like to write in English and you could tell them about your experience here

What wonderful news!! I'm so glad you got the job and I hope you enjoy it. Your written English is so good, I would not guess it isn't completely natural to you if I read just this post and not some of your earlier ones. You've always been good with the language since you started posting here, though.

It's nice to read your post! Maybe the key here is that I graduated in English language school. My mother graduated there as well. All my family members speak more than one language. My father speaks Romanian, my mum speaks English and Russian, my brother English and German.

hi stand87 I am so happy for you, and anyone that gets the job they have been wanting in this crazy economy. Thats really good news and I am glad that your work in mylot helped you to get the job you wanted too. I think that passing three interviews then An English one and the last on the phone you really do deserve that job. So by now you will have been working for awhile.So mylot can be really helpful to people who need to
lean English as a second language. great.Then mylot works in even more ways,we have fun, we learn from each other, we enjoy friendships and we can further our jobs at times just by being here and mylotting. this is

I think it probably did. Mylot has probably helped alot of people with language and writing skills. Keep on writing and you well find that it all ties in. Glad to hear about the job.. I worked in a call center for several years and enjoyed the experience alot.

Congratulations,that you have got job,so you know bulgarian language i think you re from bulgaria,so now a days knowing another language is compulsary to everybody,this gives you a chance to get job that too with link with mylot discussions,have a nice day with your new job

HI Stand87 I am happy that you got the job. Did you mix up the dates? Is it 15th February or 15th March? I am glad that you managed to get a regular job which helps you to live a decent life and pay the bills. It seems that mylot has helped you to better your English writing skills.

Congratulations on your new job. I knew that mylot was good for more than just a social outlet and you've definitely proven that this belief is correct. However, I think that you made a huge mistake in the beginning of this discussion. You did mean that you are going to be starting your job in the middle of this month and not in the middle of last month, correct? If I am incorrect, I am truly sorry for my mistake.
