Great game tonight! It was 0-3 after the first period. Normally I would have given up and tune out. I would change the channel, and just wait for the next game. But considering that they've already had 9 games this season where they were behind after 40 minutes, yet they come back on the third to win the game, I stayed on watching. And yes they did! It makes 10 times this season. For my canucks-hockey friends here, did you see the game? Are they for real this time?

Your guys are coming into their own I would have to agree. They falter at times but manage to dust themselves off and pull it out. They are looking like a team that will continue to make the play-offs. year after year.

...a team that will continue to make the play-offs year after year... Thanks for that. It is no secret within the organization that the canucks are trying to pattern themselves against the redwings. I guess, you can't really go wrong with a winning formula.

Yes, there are for real. Canucks can score. I think they are third in scoring this year. Luongo gave up a couple bad ones but they are a good enough team that they cn comeback anytime. The way I see it - it comes down to the third line. Weldwood, Hansen and Glass/Raymond. They have to outplay their opposition because in the playoffs, the first two lines will offset the other sides top 2 lines. Also, the Canucks Olympic players had good tournaments. Kesler and Demitra were their countries' best players. The Sedins were okay and Luongo had a taste of being the ultimate champions. I see them going far in the playoffs.

It is great that they can outscore any goaltending isuues that they have in the first or second period. I guess when they've done the comeback-thing a few times, it is easy for them to believe that they can still steal a game even if they're down a goal or two. Just wish Mitchell and Bieksa could come back soon. They need these guys for the playoffs. Thanks!

I have to admit that I sat down and watched the 1st and some of the second period and I just gave up (plus I was tired). I am so glad they came back. I know Luongo is happy. Those 3 they ripped past him in the 1st scared me. I think they are adjusting to have a Alberts and they are missing the other two guys that are hurt (Bieksa?). When are they suppose to come back? I know San Jose will collapse like they always do but if Vancouver can outplay Chicago they may have a chance! Sticks crossed! By the way, in order for the Canes to get into the playoffs they can't lose more than 2 games from now till the end of the season. Its not impossible but not likely either. We will see. BIG STICKS CROSSED on this one!

I agree that Alberts is still a work in progress. Hopefully they get back Mitchell and Bieksa before the playoffs. I was looking at the east standings and the teams that the canes need to jump over. I'm confident that they could leap frog the lightning, the panthers, and the thrashers. How about the rangers and the bruins? They need to jump those 2 to get to 8th spot. Hard to aim for worst too, to get to the number one pick for the draft. I think the oilers already have a lock on that!

I was surprised about Alberts. I think he can play as a depth defenceman on the Canucks. He does make good first passes and he's not as slow as I thought he was, being 6'5 and all. Of course, he was on for a few goals against but that was probably due to communication problems as those were his first few games with a new team. Ultimeately, he'll be like a Hal Gill, who might not be in your top 75 defencemen in the NHL but he's a Cup winner.

I sure do hope you're right. And that this year is THE year!
