Well I have seen people carrying more than one cell phone and there might be some reason for that!! Sometimes this reason can be valid and sometimes it may be just for nothing good. I have two mobile and both are active one which I purchased 4-5 years back and one which I got from my past job firm so my contacts were divided into 2 cell phones and so I have two cell phones. Was think of Dual Sim Phone but preferred to keep them separate because I was not in a state of purchasing something!! What do you think about multiple cell-phone or Dual Sim phone? Basically having two or more mobile numbers!!

Normally i prefer one cellphone or smartphone for privvate and business use.Surely sometimes it can be comfortable and 2 in this way one is dedicated to the business and other to private so for some dates in exchange and security it would be ok too!!Surely have 2 cellphones just for a private or consumer use i always think is too much!!

I have two cell phones on my cell phone account. The reason for this, is that I have one for me, and one for my partner. We both agreed it would be stupid to each have our own account so I pay one bill for one cell account with two numbers. One for me, and one for him. Works out just fine.

I only have one phone & I use it for both personal & business purpose. I do have 2 jobs myself so I have a lot of contacts in my phone from both jobs. I just don't like the idea of carrying 2 phones myself. It's so much easier to carry one because I only have to remember 1 number to give out.

just use one cellphone with two Sim card in it, so for family and office is assigned with different number. We will know who call us and believe that where the numbers are derived.

Unless one is for work and one is for personal calls, I see no reason anyone should have 2 cell phones. Then again, I'm anti-cell phone. The only reason I have one at all is because the land line service doesn't work well in our neighborhood. Our cell phone never even leaves the house, its like a house phone.

I think it is not a well mannered use of cell-phone so it is annoying you. You should think about its positive aspects like when you are in hurry and want to call someone or inform something to someone. Everyone has both positive and negative thing but we should consider positive things rather than considering negative things. Thanks for your detailed explanation regarding your view!!

People are addicted to cell phones. When someone visits me at my home they spend the whole time texting other people. I think that is rude. I work in a retail store, and I have had people come up to me and ask me a question then tell me to "hold on a second" and answer their phone and talk on it, expecting me to stand there and wait on me. That's also rude. People let their cell phone ring or even talk on it during movies in the theaters. I've not paid so much money to have to listen to someone elses phone conversation instead of the movie. If people didn't abuse cell phones so much I wouldn't dislike them so much.

Isn't it so troublesome to carry two cellphones? If you have to need to different phone numbers to treat different people, it is better to have the dual sim cellphone. I love China

Hahaha I have three phones. ;) The first one was the first phone I got when I was in high school and the other was the my mom's old phone. The two are non-colored phones and I also have one colored phone I had when I subscribed to a postpaid sim. So basically I use three phones with three sim cards. Haha ;)) The old phones are still in a good condition so I don't consider surrendering those old phones. Haha. I use all the sims to get in touch with friends from different sim carriers though it's just a bit hard to reload my two prepaid sims. Anyway, I rarely load them unless it's very important. And no, I'm not a text addict, usually I just leave my phones unless I feel the need to bring them with me. Usually I use my phone just to surf the net and post updates on my Twitter account. When I get my first job, I'll buy a phone that allows dual sim instead so it will be much easier for me instead of recharging the battery of those phones. Complicated, isn't it? ;)

Yes it was a bit complicated!!! You have three cell phone and three different numbers then I think Dual Sim is not going to help you. You have search hard to find cell phone with 3-Sims. Glad to know that you have still preserved 2 non-colored phone. Good way to preserve old memories. Thanks for your response. Have a nice and happy life ahead!!!

Gracie you haven't mentioned any use of other three phones you use. Do you also have separate Sim Card in all the 4 phones? If yes is it really necessary to have 4 of them? Sorry but these question came to my mind when I read your response. Thanks for your response!! Have a nice life ahead!!

Hi. I have multiple mobile phones in my home all V551 and am considering buying MPT with bluetooth connectivity. Mostly want to transfer ringtones, pictures, etc, to/from the phone and PC. My question is whether or not anyone has successfully managed multiple phones on one PC using MPT. If so, any gotchas?

I think it will depend on related mobile phone software or the brand. I am only using one cell phone to connect to PC for some data transfer sometimes. Other one doesn't have any such provision. Thanks for your response Have a nice life ahead!!

I only have one cellphone, as that is all I need. I live alone and I don't work outside the home, so it would be stupid for me to use more than one cellphone at a time. I use mine to go online when I am not at home so I don't miss coming in here. I just purchased a smartpho0ne, and I am still learning how to use it, as my daughter sent me a picture and I can't figure out how to get it. It is all trial and error I guess. I will get it figured out, I hope. Anyway, ggod luck to you and happy myloting.

I have two simcards but i used to have only one phone. but i recently bought another phone, so i don't keep on transferring my sim cards. one is for my personal number and the other is for communicating with my bestfriend because of unlimited services provided by another network.

Well, I own two cell phones because I need to use 2 phone lines. Usually people who keep more than one phone is because they might need one for personal purposes and the other one for work. What I don't understand is those people who own 5 phones with 5 different lines. Sounds suspicious...

I think such people are doing something suspicious as you said, so that they can use dispose some of the numbers when their job related to those numbers is done. Thanks for raising such interesting topic in your response. Have a nice life ahead!!

Multiple cell phones.....well,I'd say they'd mean stress multiplying. And its too much burden to carry. Also,it reminds me of a friend of mine who kept two phones for two boyfriends,so that whenever any of them called, the phone didn't return a busy tone..:P...Well weird uses,I must say!!On a more serious note, unless it is for the executives who need to have separate phones for handling the huge contact list they have, people should avoid using multiple phones just for the sake of show off.I mean really,it doesn't impress anyone, just increases your tension...:)

You have mentioned a good point about having multiple partners. It is really weird that people use such tricks to avoid confusion. I agree with you that one should use it only if there is real necessary rather than doing show off by using multiple phones. Thanks for your response!! Have a nice life ahead!!

My partner has two mobile phones. One is his personal phone and the other one is his work phone. He has to carry his work phone with him at all times, so he can be contacted if there is a problem at work

Well, this is very common these days that one has multiple phones. Individuals may have multiple cell phones for separate purposes. Multiple phones may be used to take advantage of the benefits. Mobile phones have become very important in our lives. Mobile coupons are an inexpensive way to take advantage of what works. Mobile phones are used for a variety of purposes, including keeping in touch with family members, conducting business, and having access to a telephone in the event of an emergency. A study by Motorola found that one in ten cell phone subscribers have a second phone that often is kept secret from other family members. These phones may be used to engage in activities including extramarital affairs or clandestine business dealings.

Here in my country, I see a lot of people carrying multiple mobiles. I wondered about that and I sometimes ask those who do why they carry multiple phones. The most common answer I would get is that they like to separate their professional and personal life, thus the separate phones. One told me that one was for his wife and the other for his mistress. :)
