can money be last in life

Friends,
Was seriously thinking today, can money be last in life.
To me itseems slowly interest towards earning is reducing the happiness of life.
The time to spend with family is reducing as the time we spend on earning money.
Can money be the last in life, if this is taken seriously, how would be our life.
How things would change, imaging money has least importance in the world that how the world would be?How things will change.
Its easy just to think that way but reality would completely differ with me.Many of you who take life as practical will not agree to this I know, but for a while think about this.

Currency kills, but we need it in order to survive. Without it what would you do? You should only need what you need and have at least some time with your family even with a busy schedule.

Can Curreny alone be life, no never and I don't agree with you, would re-iterate the topic can money be last thing in life, just a thought run.

VJ, this is exactly what I have been thinking as of late. Only, you have said it better than I could. I am not particularly materialistic, but there are certain things I want in life, and have wanted, for either comfort or convenience. However, my mother has worked all her life and is still struggling to make ends meet. We were "latch key" kids growing up. We never went hungry, and we sometimes had family vacations, but we didn't have a college fund saved for us or anything like that. It just seems a pity that one works hard most of their life and still is poor. I have thought about certain things I have bought or thrown away over the years and wondered if I had saved those items, or not shopped so much, could I have afforded to take some days off to spend with my family? I am filled with a lot of regret, because my mom is going to move far far away from me and I may not be able to afford the plane ride.

i am afraid it would never be. But i have seen several people make that money is the last thing in their life. They were happier than other, eat just for stay alive ( not bother with the taste), wear simple clothes ( not even bother if it cheap or expensive). But for me, i just can't...
