What is data entry job?

Most data entry jobs that I have applied for seems to be referral links. A proper data entry job require normal typing skills and the knowledge of using a computer. I suppose it might have to do with data entry in a database. Good luck for job hunting!

Data Entry job is a job where in you r required to type data, either numaric or text in computer, mostly in specified format. Minimum speed should be 60 strokes per minute. More is the speed more will you earn. Normally a data (Say scanned copy) will come and a time will be specified within which data entry is required to be completed. No special skills are required but typing speed will help.
