what to do when... you entered the wrong classroom?! =D

I was on my way to the next class and I was thinking about something. I glanced at the time and I realized I'm late and I hurried to enter to the classroom. I opened the door and as I was about to sit, I noticed my classmates are looking at me and I realized I don't know them! They look unfamiliar to me and so I realized I enter the wrong classroom!! =D I hurried to get out and I heard some of them laughed at me. That was so embarrassing! =D what to do when this happens to you?

I have experienced the same thing. And in my case, I didn't took it seriously. I just smiled at them that nothing wrong happened. Haha.

I will just approach the instructor and ask him/her if our instructor is already around. lol. That would be a considerable alibi huh. what do you think?

I am sorry to say that I am smiling while reading the details of the discussion. Of course, I would feel embarrassed if I were in the same situation. In fact, I did have similar experiences although I am not a student. There were times I went to the wrong classrooms in which they were not my students. When I realized it, I felt quite embarrassed, but luckily I usually realized I was wrong when I was trying to get in. I must be careful not to have this happen to me again. Thanks for the discussion.

I'm a victim of that a lot of times. when I was working and going to school at the same time. I was from work and going to my first class. Still loading and think of different things to do. I realized that all people were wearing white. I just saw that My classroom was right next door. hahhaa.They all looked at me and they can really feel I was super lost.harharh

If that classroom is not for exclusive use of just one class, maybe I'll pretend to have lost or forgotten something there and that I just came in to look for it or maybe pretend to be looking for a teacher or professor or a classmate.

I think that happened to me before. Honestly, because I was caught in a moment of shock and surprise that I entered the wrong room, I really couldn't think of anything witty to say. I just feel my face turn red and just turn away. haha! If I can pull myself up, I would say "oops, sorry." but mostly, I'll just run away and hope those people won't remember my face.
