Do you ever feel like you have entered this abyss and that you may never come out or find your way back to normality? HELP! Back in June 2009 I came back to live with my daughter and grandkids after living with an old friend until this big fiasco took place and I just came back home. At that time I got a new phone number with my cable service. Immediately I started recieving calls for this Angela Bradley person who obviously had some financial problems. I was getting calls from her credit cards such as Macy's, Marshal's, etc. All kinds of calls. I got most of them taken care of in a couple of months and rarely get a call now. But today I got a call that started out with "If your are --- please stay on the line' and because I am having some issues with my PC and have been getting calls from techs both locally and at the company level I stayed on the line. An attendant finally comes on and askes if I am Angela Bradley. WHAT??!! I asked what number she thought she was calling and it wasn't even close to mine. Ofcourse I had her take this number off her list but now they have my name affiliated with this woman! Ugh! Have you ever had such a idiotic, stupid, depressing, irritating, maddening, and frustrating thing happen to you?

When I first moved here there was alot of people calling for a woman looking for a certain woman. One night there was a call for her and the man on the other line said..Jenny? Flipped me out. It was a guy I worked with that knew the girl and recognized my voice!

Ooh! That is supposed to be a nice feeling when you recognize someone's voice on the other end of the phone. But he is calling for someone but you just happened to know him! Eery. Small world isn't it?

Get them calls all the time and when they tell me to hold I hang up even it its for someone in the house for if they want to talk to us they can call direct and ask for that person. I do have another person here in Vegas with my name not sure if middle inital is the same but she was on my credit report took for ever to get her off mine had me living all over the valley lolol and streets I never heard of!

Hey celtic! How miserable and unfortunate for you! I guess you were unlucky enough to get this Angela Bradley's recycled phone number! They usually wait awhile before they reassign a phone number! You should have made them change your phone number right away when you realized that you were having all these problems! My mother got a new cell phone and she was given someone else phone and when she calls me it comes up with a man's name! I told her this and she just didn't want to be bothered changing it! So when I see that name I know it's my mother! But, it's stupid and she should have told the company where she got the phone to fix it or give her another number, but that's my mother!

By the time I had thought of changing the number we had it so insconses around that it would have been a real fiasco to get a new one. Ah, the hassles of life! Must be fun getting a man's name on the caller ID and know it's your mom!
