forgiveness before you die!

Hi Care, I already did. i attended a retreat and one of the reflection sessions is going down deep our hearts and remember those people whom we think we caused them pain or hurt them. we were asked to talk to the person and commune with the persons soul. it was a heavy session but after that we felt so relieved. i am willing to do it by myseld given the chance to know that tomorrow i will die. i will spend the remaining time with my family and set aside a moment to commune with the persons whom i hurt and ask for forgiveness. i know i will only if i reach and commune with their souls.

hi. knowing that you have done your best is what i would very much like to give myself when it's time for me to go. and this includes forgiveness. forgiveness is a virtue. i believe that giving it, no matter how difficult it is sometimes, does not make anyone the less richer.

Hey careguarden~ If I knew that I was going to die I would most definitely want to make amends with anyone that I had hurt or who I felt I needed to tell that I loved them! I wouldn't want anyone to think that I left this earth without them knowing how I really felt about them! That also would include anyone that I did hate too, if I did hate anyone! I would like to leave this earth with a clear conscience, as I believe most people would!

Every day, I pray to God to help me forgive those who hurt me in some way. I don't always feel the forgiveness in my heart but I pray for each of them every day and continue to pray for the gift of forgiveness.

to err is human to forgive is divine. they are always people who hurt us intentionally or unintentionally. when they hurt us unintentionally, we will be licking our wounds and that person is happily going his way. why, he did not know that we are the wounded party. there is the other category of people who purposely hurt us and 'rejoice' over it. this is the world that we live in. to me forgiveness is not a feeling, its mandatory. reason, i do not want to go around with these unforgiveness that eats me up and i feel down and out. i forgive the person and go on my way. i forgive myself too as its no point being hard on myself when things dont turn out well after i did my best. as Father God foegives me when i ask for forgivess, thus i forgive others too. i want to keep my daily account short. every night before i go to sleep , i pray anbd ask God to forgive me. in this way, i feel my heart is whole again and i feel love, peace and joy.

I am a person who easily forgives. I usually ignore the faults of other people to me. Although it does not necessarily follow that I have forgotten what they did. Yes, to forgive is to forget. But to forget what they have done wrong to me is silly. I need those memories to evaluate the person I have forgiven. That by the next time, I can be careful in dealing with them. Knowing their history is a great thing that can make me a master of who they are. That, I can avoid from being a victim of their faults again.

i think people have hurt me so many times... i have not really thought about forgiving people.. coz i think evryone who hurt me, i have already forgotten about it. and will not put any bad or hatred feelings in my heart... at least not anymore.

i try to forgive the best i could, die with hatred would not be nice. i am afraid that will hunt my peace rest.

Your discuss is ver interesting for me. Talk abour dying, i always pray to God for godbless me and forgive to my parent, my friend and to everyone who know and dont know me including all athe people that i ever hurted.

I really cannot say for sure. If the offense is minor, I might. But for major offense? Maybe or maybe not. Can I just cross the bridge when I get there?

i think i am not wengeful.so,i can forgive everyone who hurt me.i love my families.i hope they don't be too sad when i am die.

One of chinese author Lu xun said that he will never forgive any enemy when he is dying .In my opinion , every one has made small or big mistakes all his /her life . If these mistakes don't about your country or culture ,etc,it can be forgiveness .However ,if you betray your country(Party is not equal to Country in china ,I think ),you will never be forgiven by most of people .
