Weekends are so very relaxing and one takes off all the stress by sleeping well. Its lots of time spend on sleeping on sat and sunday, its so feel good. I think most of the people find some time to sleep when not so busy at weekends?

Beacause of what you say I am going to assume that you don't have children. Once you have kids there is no such thing as a relaxing weekend anymore with random snoozing and deep sleep. My weekends are busier than my weekdays what with taking the kids out, playing on the garden and trying to keep them occupied. long gone are those days where weekends were for sleeping and doing very little but pleasing myself...I envy you dhawanbm!

this is really good you go to parks and have lots of enjoyment with the kids, they love to be with the parents who are always there for them. In the most, what one can do is have plenty of sleep if there is scope of it, you know what i mean!

Well, going out with kids is a great fun but I don't have kids yet. I also go to park and enjoy a lot with kids who live near by. It is an amazing feeling playing with them. My weekends are always great. I can spend lots of time with my hubby and go out as well. It is also nice to meet friends and also I get time to take a quick nap on either day..Saturday or Sunday. Well, it is really not possible to sleep on weekends.

One of the best way to relax is sleeping. I remember when I was in grade school, I hate it when my aunt always forced me to sleep in the afternoon even when I don't want to. She said that sleeping is the best way for a child to grow fast, bigger and taller. So, what I do is I just lay down and close my eyes and pretending i'm sleeping ( bad girl, hehehe ) But when I went to high school and college, all I want to do is to sleep after school time. I prefer to sleep than to eat. And now that I have my own child, I'm the one now forcing my son to sleep every afternoon and I also told him the same thing as my aunt has told me. Hahaha

Dear friend, Not always, it depends upon my tiredness. Moreover if I do not have any other engagements. I may tend to take some rest.

this is too good as you tend to have some rest if provided you dont have any work to attend to, its amazing how things work out for most of us. But you know its better to have some rest from busy routine if there is time!

I would love to sleep for longer hours during the weekend but I still have lots of things to do then, like chores. I also am involve in different church activities which I love doing. One of the things I am thankful for during weekends is that, even though I can not have more sleep, I don't have to get up really early in the morning to go to work.

for sure there are so many of house hold chores where by a woman could be busy for reasons, moreover there are so many things to be done at home, like kids and taking care of household. My wife too has hassles at weekend as she tends to find some time for herself, I obviuosly help her too

I love weekends because it is the only time that I can sleep late in the evening and also wake up late in the morning. I am also able to sleep in the afternoon even though I woke up late. I do this every weekend. Even before I wasnt working yet, I do this already. Usually on Sunday afternoon, people dont go to our house because they know that all of us will be sleeping at that time. Its actually funny because all of us sleep. But its like a family tradition to sleep every Sunday afternoon. When we wake up, my mom would cook something to eat. I love that life and I miss it so much. I only get to do that rarely now. But its okay, things change and they happen for a reason.

Its amazing to find some time for yourself if it is a nice weekend with plenty of time to sleep in the company. However if you are used to working late and online it could be good if weekends provide the usual time for relaxing, its nice to sleep in the afternoons, I too love to nap sometimes too!

I sleep most of the time. I find it very relaxing to sleep. I sleep during the weekends. It helps me replenish all the used energy during the weekdays.

I sleep not only on weekends but in weekdays too, otherwise fatigue would kill me On weekends I sleep longer, as I have more free time, but I work some weekends, so I can't always do that . It's great when you can sleep as long as you like without having to be bothered by an alarm!

sleeping during the weekends is one of those main reasons why there is a so called "weekend". it is the time to unwind from all the stress of working. yes, for obvious reasons, most people find it that sleeping during the weekends is already considered the reward for having to work hard during the weekdays. i sleep a lot during weekends (when the sun is high in the sky), then i go out with friends and party during the night. :)
