Wonderful friends here

India

Hello as I have said now I am in Hyderabad with my wife. My son has joined a good paying job in govt of India concern. Today is 'New Year Day' in south India, though we are just three weeks old here and live in multi storey flat, i find the people extremely friendly. Earlier we were told in this metro particularly in flats there is no social life. But to day some persons in the other flats came to wish us, some gave lemon rice, rasam, curd rice etc, we enjoyed eating them, well this is life, we must be social, money is secondary, what is your view? Bhuwan

Wonderful you have that kind of neighborhood professor. You feel safe and secure with that kind of neighborhood. I've been into another places but i never experience such thing. In our home town our neighbors are inviting us to eat in their houses but that is embarassing for me to go there even if I am invited. I can only go if i am with my mother.

Its good to go with my mother as well. But I want to keep my profile low. My mom here has a lot of friends. And I dont want that they will ask a lot more about me. Sometimes they would ask about personal things which I know inappropriate to discuss such things. But of course I dont want to be treat them withou manners, if I dont answer them. Ohh thank you so much.. People here are friendly? REally it was good to hear that..

Yes Mr.bhuwan I too am from Hyderabad only and I know the people there. As you said they are extremely good and cooperative. You are 100% right. Social life is more important than the money. Money is necessary to live but money is not the only thing in life

First off, I am very happy to hear this you enjoyed ur new year and settled there very well. It is really interesting to know that some people shared a plates with you. Yes, this is what is a social life. Together its fun. You can enjoy more than anything else. Many people are cautious around other people. They don't want to interrupt others since it is considered rude, and they are often worried that they might choose the wrong group of people to be friendly with, so they have difficulty being social with anybody. But if you have a guest who's not mingling well, invite them to help you check on the punch or even allow them to help you fix the punch..social world is also nice sometimes..Have a great day!!

I completely agree with you. I think that living our lives being the person that we were meant to be and being social is a very important part of being human. I also agree that money is not what makes us the people that we are. I do see in my life that there are a lot of people that view money as being more important than being a friend. However, I would never live my life in a way that where I stood financially was more important than being a friend.

Hi Professor, I agree money is not the most important thing in life, but unfortuntely is necessary. I am living in Australiaa, while my wife is back in Thailand. I will rejoin her when I return in December, and the government will pay my pension over there. Have a great day, Mike.

Good neighbourhood relationship is a very pleasant experience. Our near and dear ones will be in far off places. Only neighbours are close to us and sharing love, affection and courtesies with them makes us feel that we are in the midst of close people only.

Indeed money is not really the primary thing in this world. It is love that matters most. It makes the world go round. The love of people around is what keeps life worth living. What is money if everyone hates you?

It totally depends based on the experience of the people as to who are good or bad. You had a good experience and at the same time few might have a bad experience in the same region. I believe that If I am good people around me will not hate at all. So you are a good person so people around you will love you and will be ready to help as and when required. Enjoy the variety of food and coconut water :)
