I have just got some very good food at a good price and all of my five cats love it.I feed my cats on the complete dried food and they love it.It costs only £10 a large sack so that is great and the place that i get it from is only a 5 minuite drive away from my house.I have decided to get three sacks and put them into my outhouse as that way i know it will last along time aswell as it is well dated aswell.Great savings for me.What about you have you found a cat food that you know your cats love and is great value for money or are your cats picky about what they eat.

Ms. Buttercup isn't picky at all about what she will eat. Now Mr. Cornbread whom we lost earlier in the week was a lot more picky about what he would eat than Buttercup has ever been. At least my one cat that was picky about what he would eat preferred the cheaper stuff over the expensive food. I started him with Meow Mix and he really didn't care for that but as soon as I started feeding him store brand cat food, he would never stop eating.

My cats are not real pick about cat dry cat food. They are picky about their wet food. Though I would make sure wherever you store your cat food that no bugs or moisture of any kind could get to it. I know once in a while my kids like to make "cat soup" (kitty food + water) & dump it back into their bag wich then causes the food on the bottom to mold. Same if they dump water near the bag *sigh*

my cat was adopted and he already had preferred food, which is fancy feast can food and holistic dry food as well as some whiskas for snacks.

We took in an old cat and had him for 3 years before he passed away. His teeth were really bad so while he could still eat hard food it was much easier for him to eat soft food. I always had a bowl of Friskies dry food out for him and then every night after we ate dinner he would get a can of soft food. It was about .33 cents a can. I bought a variety and would always buy on sale and use coupons for it. Friskies dry food was not very expensive at all though and there were often coupons in the Sunday paper for it.

I'm glad you found such a great deal on cat food and that your cats love it as well! That's always a plus. Make sure that you also buy wet food too. I used to buy both and feed my cat wet food one day and dry food the next for a variety. To give her taste buds a flavor break. Now, though, she's on prescription food because she has crystals in her urine and if she's not careful it could develop into full blown kidney stones. So far she can't eat dry food at all anymore. Just the wet food, but, I buy an equal amount of chicken and seafood and change it on her every other day so she has a variety to eat and doesn't get bored eating the same thing all the time. Our beloved pets like variety as much as we do.

That is all my cats will eat. I can buy a 18 pound bag for $7. My one cat used to eat wet cat food, until right before the recalls came out. He was sick all the time. He quit eating so we tried a friends cat food. He ate it and it is what he continues to eat. Actually, it was meow mix and we found Dollar Generals Brand is just like it and we can mix theirs with a small bag and they will eat it.

Our cats always lived on dried cat food. Now, they were still picky about which brand they liked, so after we got that figured out, that's what they always ate. It was only when they were really old, had teeth or digestion problems, that we switched to soft canned food to help them out.

I don't think that my cat could be called picky. He only eats dry cat food. The only food he is allowed, I have to buy from the vet. He had to be hospitalized once a couple of years ago. When the vet discharged him, he said to keep him on this special food to prevent a re-occurrence of his problem.

I feed both my cats Purina Supercoat dried food and they are both healthy and happy. I used to give my felines Whiskas but when I adopted my little one at the shelter they told me it’s better not to use wet food too much so I now stick to the biscuits they are recommend by a popular T.V. and that is good enough for me! By the way these biscuits are very good value not too cheap and definitely not too pricey!

The Land Lord brought in a Large Grey Tom Cat, he'll eat whatever I get. He's Very friendly too! I want to keep Him thin so he'll hunt for any mice.

I usually get Applaws dry which is about £30 for a 7.5 Kg bag which is about 16 or 17 Lb. at the moment though I've got Purina Pro which I think cost me about £15 for a 3 Kg bag. Both are a good deal more expensive than what you have paid so I'd be very interested in knowing what the brand is that you've bought. The cats can be pretty picky, so I'm wary about getting a large bag of food that they have not had before in case they won't touch it.

Any imported animal foods are expensive here. I have not found any yet that is cheap for my cat. I don't buy cat food but instead cook for my cat everyday. My cat is not a fussy eater and she will take anything. You are lucky to have found cheap cat food. Sure it save a lot on the budget.

I have 3 cats. I usually buy friskies dry food. A couple of years ago there was a pet food scare where the wheat glouton was making animals sick. Mine did not get sick. When i checked the ingredients on the food i buy i saw it had corn glouton. So i just kept buying the same brand of food. I also buy the friskies canned food. They each get a spoonful of that 2 times a day.

The cats at my parents home, don't like dried food. They prefer wet food and fresh fishes being fried. My sister always prepared their meals using Whiskas, before she went to work. In the afternoon, my mother will fried fresh fishes for the cats to eat. We ever tried feeding them dried food but seems like they don't really like them. So, my sister decided to feed them with wet food and fried fresh fishes.

My two cats take spells on what they eat. I can buy canned and they love it for a while and then I buy dry and they gulp it down than they quit.
It's a catch 22 type of thing here with my spoiled rotten cats.
But I love 'em and do the best I can for them:)

I buy my cats food at Sam's Club. It costs about 13.00 and it is a 20 pound bag. I buy Meow Mix and they love Meow Mix. They are not picky, they eat anything. My cat Smyles eats human food as well (he steals we do not give it to him). When we buy food at Sam's club it seems to last a month. Sams club is a forty-five minute drive (which is why we do not go every week).
