Me I am one that worries a little bit and then think what the heck is the worrying going to do for me? When I was growing up I worried about everything. I got hit by a car and it was a bad experience. I died and went to heavens gates and after that day I finally figured out I can't worry about things. Now when I know that I need something if I just pray about it God will handle it. If I will just trust in what God has instored then everything seems to always work out to the good. I am thankful for that accident because I learned how not to worry. Now my husband is a real worry wart he isn't as bad as he used to be. I guess cause he see's me not worrying and I tell him all the time to trust in God and it will always work out to the best.I do know that God wants us to do as much as possible on our own. So are you a worry wart? Or are you like me and leave it all in Gods hands?

I am a worry wart. I am better then I used to but I still worry. I don't remember when I started this. Alot of it had to my crappy self-esteem and confidence. It is a long story! I don't need to go into! I still worry about money, bills, becoming a hoader(I probaly am not going that way),retirement and weight. I have tried to put it in God's hands but it hasn't help. I feel He has given up on me and laughing down on me. I have to do this on my own.

Then tell was it has taken me years to get where I am(I'm almost 48) and why I can't get over the hump to get where i want to be? Why does God take the good people and leave the bad ones on earth?Huh?

Hi Blue. God hasn't forgotten you. If you want proof that God still loves you go to this site and hear what Gods word says. http://www.shepherdschapel.com/index.cfm This preacher has helped us in teaching the word of the LORD the way HE meant for HIS word to be taught. God isn't looking for someone to zap God is looking for our love. As far as your self confidence God didn't create anything HE isn't proud of and your exactly what God wanted when HE created you. Your a good person and have things to deal with but remember God wouldn't put on any of us anything HE don't put on everyone. All of us has problems but God knows we are strong enough to handle them.

I have not lost anyone recently. I am once again struggling with what I think I believe in and I am sick of struggling to get to there I want to be! Life sucks and I wish it was a hell of a lot easier! Life is so unfair, too! I still think God is laughing at me and alot of other people who are struggling like I am emotional! He has given up on me! I know He Has!

I have always been a worry wart all my life. I have now tired in the past year or so to leave things in Gods hands. I pray to him all the time for things to work out for the best. I have gotten better because of that but I still have at least one night a week where I can't sleep because I'm worried and thinking to much and then I can't shut the brain off. This just happened last night. I went to bed at 2am in the morning and I was still awake at 5:30am.

Hi Lelin. Your welcome. I don't know but I think God leads me to share with others. I want everyone to hear the truth about God and what is supposed to be taught. This man explains the bible really well. Hearing the true way God means for HIS word to be taught has blessed my life. God Bless you too my friend.

Hi Lelin. I see a lot of people that worry and I wonder why not give all our problems to God. I have made it a habit since we found the preacher in 2004 to ask God daily to make that day a good day and to guide us in HIS will and to protect us from all harm and evil. And believe me our lives has turned around 360 degrees. We watch him on the net and it is so cool we can listen to him 2 or 3 times and hear something new each time we hear it. http://www.shepherdschapel.com/index.cfm That is his site that we listen too. It will play on windows media player or real player and they give a site on their site for free downloads of either or both players. And when I go to bed I always thank God for the day HE gave me and ask HIM to watch over us through the night. I have too many problems to try and handle them on my own. So I give them up to our FATHER in heaven God.

Yes, worry has certainly plagued my life! There have been times when I would worry about everything, what I was going to do next and so forth. I would also ask a lot of those what if questions! What if this happens? What if that happens? I guess this really imprisoned me at that time but I'm pleased to say that things have improved a lot since then. I no longer worry as much and when I do start to experience these thoughts I quickly push them away and look for more positive thoughts! I now have a good friend is forever worrying about absolutely everything and is constantly engrossed in negative thinking; this is definitely not the way to go! I tend to take things easier now in relation to worry, there's just no point to it, the clock is still ticking! Andrew

Hi Andrew. I am happy to hear that you now have your life back in order and don't worry as much. My dad told us as young children that we should never worry about anything, because God has our lives in control. My dad was an ex priest and he taught us to believe in God and trust HIM for our needs. You can help your friend to get out of this worrying and negative thinking. The positive out weights the negative. Good luck.

I am guilty to the highest level! I tend to worry too much about my son which sometimes very unnecessary..there are times that i can't even fall asleep at nights worrying and thinking about things... i am still in the process of motivating myself on how i should deal with things positively, and entrusting my life to God, sometimes i succeed, sometimes i don't.

Hi Laurenban and welcome to my lot. We parents always worry about our children. That is a natural worry. But if you will ask God daily to watch over your family God will lead them in saftey. I know it is hard to give your life up to someone else but if you put it in Gods hands believe me you will never go wrong. Here is our preachers web site he can help guide you better then I can. http://www.shepherdschapel.com/index.cfm We listen to this guy daily cause he teaches us how to learn and listen to Gods word and it has helped both of us tremendously. When I married this man he was a real worry wart so we started listening to Gods word and things has turned around for us a 360degree turn. Our life is more on tract then it ever was. My husband is still a worry wart at times but he is getting where he don't worry as much.

No, I'm not a worry wart. I just lost a lot of money to a scam, and I was pretty upset about it, at first. But now, I've accepted what's happened and have made new plans and am in the process of executing those plans, having learned my lesson. I generally don't worry much about "things", especially now that I'm retired.

I worry all the time. I try so hard not to but I do worry. I think I worry more than the average individual though. I was actually diagnosed with an anxiety disorder several years ago which means my worry can at sometimes be crippling. I wish it weren't but I deal with it as best as I can.

Hi Angel. I am so sorry you have this health problem. It must really be hard for you. I will keep you in my prayers. I had a problem with worrying so much too but I had a life altering experience and it changed my life around. I now listen to the best preacher I have ever had the pleasure of hearing and that has helped us a lot too. I turn my worries over to God and leave it in HIS hands.

Hi Cher. Good policy not worrying it is a waste of time and way too much energy. When in the long run it will work out the way God wants it to be. I always take everything to God cause I know HE can do what I can't do. I don't like wasting my time and energy on something I can't control anyway.

Please allow me to share something that has encouraged me : "Worry is like a rocking chair; It keeps one busy but it gets no where." I believe we should learn from our yesterdays, do our best today and we will have the wisdom for tomorrow. As God leads us step by step, one day at a time :)

Hi Cream. I am so sorry you are having such problems in your life. But do you know that is what the devil wants he wants to keep everyone all tied up with stress and worry. I pray that God will be in your life and help you to get over these fears and worries about this life. In Jesus name I order all evil away from my friend Cream. I toss all my problems up to God and let HIM take care of it I know God can do more then I will ever be able to do. So why not give up all your worries and fears to our FATHER in Heaven. God be with you this day and each and everyday for the rest of your life.

I worry about a lot of things I cannot help it. Sometimes I worry so bad that I actually forget what it is I'm worrying about. Sometimes I get knots in my stomach and I end up worrying about the most silliest and trivial things that I could possibly find to worry about. One of my new years resolutions was to worry less and I haven't managed it yet.

Hi Goldie. Not a good thing to worry can make you really sick. Why worry about something you have no control over in the first place? You can only do what you can do why think about things that aren't really important anyway. I mean God has HIS plans and our lives are going to go according to what we do and what God has planed for us. As long as we try to be good people and give it an honest try and don't fall into temptation then we will have better lives. Ask God to remove this from you and believe me HE will remove worry from your life. I give everyday to God and believe me I like it a lot better not really worrying about stuff.

I am a totally worry wart and I have real trouble trying to control it. Sometimes I get so worked up that I end up a wreck and start throwing up. I know where my worrying stems from and over recent weeks I have started to pray even though I am not at all religious. I've tried to take control of my worrying with herbal medications but I don't like taking medicines when I should be able to control myself better.

Hi Beauty. You don't have to believe in prayer. Try listening to that teacher I put on this discussion you will learn how to relax and not worry so much. I don't like taking medicines either. I may or may not take an asprin when I get a headache. But I only get a headache about once every 6 months or so.God has blessed me with good health. And since I don't worry any more things have gotten even better in my life. I used to get like you and it made me sick with grief. Not any more though thank God!

I come from a family of worry warts, however i seemed to have skipped it. My mom and sister are worse for it, they worry about the slightest things. If something is happening that i should really be worrying about i tend to just let it roll. All things happen for a reason and they happen as they do for that reason, i have no desire to stand in its way :) x
