Today, i saw my kitty give birth to her kittens! she looked like she's in pain but when her first baby got out she looked relieved. it took her almost 3 hours to deliver her four kittens. after she did she licked them all to dry them and then she looked so tired.. my sister even told me that she doesn't want to give birth to a baby anymore. how about you guys? have you ever saw your kitty giving birth? :)

I was there watching my cat giving birth to her kittens and that was a great experience as she never made no fuss and no noise whilst she was giving birth. She had no trouble what so ever cleaning aswell as nursing her kittens ans she was a very proud cat. This was her first set of kittens and she only had 2.It took her 4 hours in total to give birth.

Yes I have my old cat give birth to 7 kittens about five years ago now and she gave birth in front of us and wanted us to help her. Unfortunately we lost one of the kittens but we did keep one who has just become a dad himself. As my cat I have now just gave birth to four kittens on Wednesday this week two black and white ones and two all black. But she went off and done it all by herself. She gave birth under my 9 year old sons bed. He went up to bed and heard squealing and when he looked under his bed there she was with her four kittens. We decided to bring her downstairs yesterday so we could keep an eye on her and make sure the kittens were being fed as she was a bit unsure at first. But as I write this she is curled up with her kittens in the cat box feeding them and is turning out to be a good little mum.

yeah! just last week my cat also gave birth to 4 cute kittens! its funny that day coz she looks so disturb, going here and there and seems like she's looking for something, my husband and i are just watching her, sometimes she even stops in front of us as if she wants to say something... and then we saw her like she's really not at ease, so i assume that she's already giving birth and so i put her in a box and leave her there for few minutes...and when i come back, huh! there's already one kitten there! and another 3 follows! and she clean them up, and sleep...after wards, she's very hungry! and that's the first time i saw a cat giving birth!

It was my first time too! my cat were sneaking in and out looking like she doesn't want to be caught giving birth, but she was so obvious. by the time she didn't come out i looked and saw that she is breathing fast and her mouth is open like it was really painful. and then she looked so weak. _

My baby followed me all around the house the day she was to give birth. She kept nesting everywhere I went! lol. I set up a box and blanket for her to deliver her babies. It was really awesome seeing their little feet and heads come out. That was one of the neatest experiences with an animal I ever had. Congratulations on your new additions. Will you be keeping any of them?

Yes, i have! I used to have a lady cat, i called her "HoneyGirL". She was the sole and only offspring of our older cat. She has given birth 3x and each time i have witnessed it. The experience was awesome and it was something i will not ever forget. It taught me to be gentle to animals, to care for them and to love them. Experiencing something which gives Life teaches us compassion - not only to animals but also to other human beings. Watching something give birth brings warmth to the heart. That experience i cherished and want to bring it down to my daughter. I would also like her to watch the "Birth of a Life", someday. Congrats on the new furballs...give them a happy home!

Yes, I watched my cat, Humphrey, get born. He's the cat in the avatar and he was born 11 yeas ago to my female cat Cassidy and my male cat, Bogey. It was amazing. There were three kittens in the litter and Humphrey was the only boy. He looked just like his father. Both father and mother cleaned up the kittens. I always thought that having two parents there was what made the litter so special. Sadly, Humphrey is now the only survivor of that little feline family.

A few years ago I rescued a pregnant female cat and agreed to look after her for a week or so until she was able to go into a shelter. Two nights later she made a nest in some old towels and I put down for her as bedding, and she produced a little of three healthy kittens. I would love to have been able to keep her and the kittens but at the time I couldn't but a week later she went to a local cat shelter.

I've never seen an animal give birth in my home. I've seen it on t.v. though. Its amazing how all the animals know what to do. Though when I first got my cat Chinnia the vets thought she was pregnant. And, its quite obvious she's not at this point.
