That would depend on the illness or condition. There are many that can be cured with medical care, others that cannot be. If I had something curable, then I guess I'd really want that care. On the other hand, if I had something that was going to kill me anyway, I'd rather not have care. For some diseases, like incurable cancer, the treatment is frequently worse than the disease. If I had six months to live, I'd rather not spend it suffering with the effects of chemotherapy or radiation therapy, but doing whatever my heart desires.

well, i think that dying at home is really a better way to say goodbye to life and also to say goodbye to the people we love, becaues dying in the hospital is something really not that good, among all the nurses, all the other patients, knowing that you are not at home, that you are not lying on your own bed. I also want to die without a hospitalization!

Hi Baluyadav, nobody who is sane would want to die in an environment that has quite a few deaths almost everyday. Nobody would want to be anywhere near a hospital - its not a park or cinema hall. :) So rest assured all of us think alike. :) Of course, the wish is justified. But it is not in our hands. Remember mother theresa? She also had to die in there. So it is up to god to kill us instantaneously. We all hope for that. :)
