I really do think it is best to not believe or put your your trust too much into a horoscope or other kinds of reading. One's mind and determination is the only thing that can decide your future, but at the same time it is fun to know what the various systems (a lot of study has been done to make a horoscope) can tell. If you get depressed by a prediction, it can bring down your performance. At the same time, if something good predicted for you never happens, it has an equally similar chance of reducing your overall performance, which i why one shouldn't put too much trust in such systems. I've read some random horoscope at the beginning of the year, and lo and behold the negative point came true, but the "making good money" was far from truth. Well, it was fun and probably not 100% a coincidence, but i wouldn't want to rely on things that says only 50% truth lol. And its is also possible that the 50% that came true was because it effected my mind in some way - more like brainwashing. So be careful when getting your horoscope and palm and stuff read - it could be dangerous. Good luck and happy mylotting saNdra15.

Yeah, why doesn't the "making lots of money" ever come true? LOL. Thanks for your response.

Well, I've often heard that horoscopes (most of them anyway) are based on psychological reactions. They gather some very common facts about people: -you'll have some health problems -you're GF will run away soon -you'll have misunderstanding with your parents -you'll do better in exams -you'll gain a salary bonus this year -blah blah blah exclusively including: -you'll make some great money this year these are common for most people and have a great chance of coming true. i mean, bonuses are given every year to most employees; in my country for every festival we give bonuses to the empolyees - onam in kerala etc etc if you're told you'll do better in exams, there's an 80% chance you'll become optimistic and learn better and hence get good results. and you can't imagine people not having health problems in an entire year! (the guys who have never seen a doctor is sure to atleast catch a common cold in summer because there are over 1500 (or was it 150) flu viruses) this is horoscope - i.e. have fun but don't rely on it too much.

Thanks. I think I'll rely more on the hard work than on the stars.

I'm not a believer in horoscopes, but sometimes it sounds real! Sometimes happens, but I just think that it's coincidence.

Lol..well I do believe sometimes and yeah I followed some precautions from my stars before..I'm an Aquarian and born under DOG in chinese horoscope..Tigers and dogs are allies and yeah this year is not good for me too but I know that it is better to believe in yourself and what you can do than anything else..for all we now we can change the negative predictions if we are willing to =)

i dont believed in horoscopes because for me there are so many people in the world who have the same horoscope with you. so does it mean that the fortune for you is the fortune of others too.

I think that's a good way to look at it. I read them mainly for fun, but it's nice to think that maybe something good will come your way.

at first i dont believe on them. but as i continue reading it some of it really is happening in your life. it might just a mere coincidence but nevertheless nothings wrong in believing on those things..you would not loose anything if you just believe on those things instead you will gain more information that there is something like that.

I think that alot of horoscopes can apply to everyone. But if you believe something good will happen to you, you might make it come true. Thanks for your response.

I have three different horoscopes on my home page, and I check them everyday when i log on. Some days they are right on with what is going on in my day. Other days they can be off base. None the less they are fun to read.

hell0! no, i am not a horoscope believer, because all the things I read there are bullsh** and i think that all the people who believe in it just have to think about it more careful and then they will realize too how stupid and naive are the things written there. because the horoscopes say only some common things that happen daily in our life, things that are something usual and never give a certain explanation, for an example- "today you will meet some one new" or "today you will be surprised"- yes, but how???? or "today you will have troubles at work"- yes, but when and how exactly??? do you see- everything is just one FAKE!!!

I don't believe at all in horoscopes. Yet, times to times, I read mine for fun in my local newspaper, but I have never been influenced by the reading of an horoscope.
