Where do you want to go this vacation time?

Vacation time is nearing fast here in the Philippines. If you are to ask, where do you want to go this vacation time? Do you want to go to a cold place or to the beaches? Do you want to go with your family or with your friends? Or you just want to be in the comfort of your home? Or do you want to travel abroad? Or just travel locally? For me, I want to go to a cold place like Tagaytay then go down to Batangas and swim to a beach. Any beach will do. I don't want to go to fancy beaches like Boracay because it is saturated with people now. I want to go to places where people are few, so that I can enjoy nature in its stillness. I just want to frolic in the waters and after that go to a cool place. That would be wonderful. Feel free to tell your dream vacation.

My dream vacation would be a trip to Europe, preferably Italy, England, and Spain. But I am going on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera - getting to swim with sea lions is what I am looking forward to most. I love cruises...this is my second one and I will be graduating college in a little over a month so I feel that I have completely earned this trip! Its not Europe - but its still going to be a great trip!

The nearest province you can go is Bulacan and Pampanga. There are lots of resorts in Bulacan. Why don't you try them.

That's awesome.. I love vacation time for sure. I've been to most parts of Southeast Asia already except for Japan and China.. so yeah. Maybe these 2 countries.. but at the same time, I'd like to concentrate on Europe and perhaps US too. Australia and New Zealand.. maybe after Europe. The most important thing is to have some great travel companions, so that will be an enriching experience hopefully. Beaches are cool too, so I'm thinking of Hawaii.. . I also want to experience thrilling rides, the roller-coasters especially.

For me, I guess the reason might be that I love to look at different scenery, enjoy the air, have a bit of time to relax and just chill.

I live in the United States and ever since I was born, my parents and I have gone somewhere where there is a beach nearly every year. Pretty much always Alabama or Florida. As much as I love the beach (I'd like to live somewhere someday that could be considered a 'beach town', or at least near one) I've been wanting to go somewhere different for probably a year or two now. When I'm able to, I'd like to go visit Washington D.C. at least once. I've been wanting to do that for a while so hopefully I can in the next two-three years.

As I have said before, Philippines is an archipelago, so you might consider going here. Washington D.C., that's the capital of the US, right? I guess, you'll be visiting the White House.

If I was able to take my dream vacation that I would like to be able to take while my children are small, then we would be headed to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. However, we do have money serving as an issue, so we may be going to the beach for a few days since neither of our children have ever been before. When they get older, we would like to take them to travel overseas, but for right now we are going to stay stateside.

A family vacation is great. I remember when I was just a kid, my parents make it a point to get us to places especially in summer vacation. Those are treasured moments I miss.

I would like to visit my cousins in Sydney, OZ but now we don`t have much money to travel that far, sadly. And we won`t be able to leave home too long as we have no caregiver to take care of my ailing grandmother ( my mother`s mom). I think we are going to have lunch or dinner together with all families (My parents, my sister and her hubby and her son, and I )and hopefully my aunt will come to take care of my grandma for a while. Are there any beautiful places in the Philippines?

There are lots of beautiful places here in the Philippines, natural and man-made. From north to south, and, east to west. You can't just go to them in just one day. Philippines is an archipelago so there are plenty of beaches to choose from.

My dream vacation would also be in a place where there are only few people. It would be in an island, with white sand. I think there are so many places here in the Philippines that are like that. I want to go there with my friends. And we'll spend the vacation there for a whole month.

For this Holy Week observance, I will have to return home to the province to spend it with my family because it's been five years since the last time I spend this very important week with them (though I regularly come home every Christmas and New Year. We are living in a coastal area so maybe I will have to go swimming with my friends.

So you are a swimmer now? I swim a little. I haven't got any formal swimming lessons. I know how to float. That's what I know, so far, in swimming.

hell0! well, because I don't have much money in my pocket and also much time, this spring vacation I will go to my parents to visit them for Easter and to celebrate it together, because I haven't seen them since new year and they really miss me. i think this time the vacation could wait and the trip to my home town would be also something like a vacation, because all day long I will stay at home or take a walk to my old friends, have fun, eat the dishes that i love and that only my mother and grandmother can cook, and my aunt too :)

Hi "kababayan"; it's been a long time since I never visit my father in the province, so I really wanted to go to Bohol and visit my father's farm there. We're not really a native of Bohol, we are Cebuanos but my father bought a farm there coz he like the place. If ever my plans will push through, I'll also will go to Panglao Beach, and then will go sightseeing also in Chocolate Hills. I wanted very much to relieve myself from the stress of living in the city; I'm in NCR (Pque)and God the heat is extreme.

I have a house too in Paranaque. Well, its my parents house actually. Good for you you have a place in Bohol. I've heard there are beaches there far, far more cleaner and beautiful than Boracay.

El niƱo is at it's peak. Philippines was not spared with it's heat. Summer is here, thus, making it hotter. If I can have atleast a week to get out of office works then maybe I can take a vacation out. I really love beaches, nature as a whole. I want to go to El Nido in Palawan. Unlike Boracay, this one is not too commercialized, I heard. I have to see it for real. I just pray that I will be granted that leave. I'm also dreaming of going to Miag-ao, Iloilo. I heard it's a good place to be close to nature. Maybe I could write a good story there.

There are virgin beaches too in Bohol. I hope I could go there. One of my supervisors live in Bohol and he promised us that we can tag along with him and his wife if they'll go down there.

How old are they? Maybe that's what they really need, a caring visit from their grandchildren.

Dream vacation? Cold country, with lots of snow. After a day of adventure on the snow, or on a local place where you could ice-skate. When you're tired, you get back inside with your friends, and take a jacuzzi. Dreaming could stay dreaming, but you can turn some dreams into reality, I hope you get to your dream-destination.

Vacation for us isn't complete if we haven't been on a pool or on a beach. There is something with the water that relaxes me. Like you I prefer to be in a place where it isn't saturated with people. This year we went to travel Davao, in the southern part of the Philipines. It is great to snorkel on the beaches in Samal Island and do other activities like zorbing and trying the zipline. It is really a great summer for us!
