" What does it mean by Sacrifice?How will you put in "Action"?

sacrifice for me is simply letting go of something valuable to you in exchange for something you consider a gain for you. it s like two kids on a see-saw. one kid has to give his full weight so that he can raise the other high to enjoy the view. although there are selfish sacrifices, as i like to call it, where one sacrifices in order to give the other pleasure although the other does not really approve of that sacrifice because he or she feels uncomfortable seeing the other doing the sacrifice. i would sacrifice myself, if that s enough, to raise my family up and give them all the pleasure they wanted.

i sure can make the ultimate sacrifice for the one i love, my dear. sacrifice, in the real sense of the world, means giving up something for someone. it could be material thing, one that you value and treasure. even going out of your way to help other people is also sacrifice. but to give or dedicate one's life for a person or cause is the ultimate sacrifice, dearest cloud.

i don't know or am not sure if this qualify as sacrifice... when i have to ignore my personal needs just to provide the needs of my children. instead of buying a shirt for me, i spend the money to buy school supplies... instead of spending time with friends for some occasions, i spend time with kids at home... instead of resting home when i feel bad and sick, i still go to work, thinking if i do not work, i have got no money to buy the needs of the family, no food for the table, no money to pay the rent and the bills... or instead of resting early, i still work online, in hope to earn more. so that i can have more extra money to buy medicine for our youngest child...

Its hard to say actually. I don't or never had done much, but then again there are probably things I could have done, but chose not to do. But, putting others feelings above my own. I do agree with that. Its important to do that.

To make sacrifices in life, really is not the easiest thing to do. Whether you love that person with all your heart or not. Too sacrifice, comes deep from the heart. It has to be a desire to make a sacrifice. TATA.

Sacrifice means you give up the things that you like for the sake of other people you love very much.I will sacrifice my time,interests and so on as long as that can be good for my family,friends...True love is the best valuable thing in the world,so it makes your sacrifice be meaningfull?

Me I can say I had sacrifice my own happiness for my family.If I don't love my family, I already leaved them and have a family of my own. Actually I don't have the time to go dating because I have so many online sites and part time jobs to attend too because I need to earn money. What will I get from dating, does my future boyfriend will pay me for every date that we have, no. I choose to be single for them. I choose to set aside my own personal happiness just to fulfill my obligation because I am the bread winner. Sometimes I get to worry about what will happen to my future, I am seeing myself to be alone when I get old, that is why I am wishing to die while still young(self pity ahahahaha). Either it will make me happy or not I am still ready to sacrifice for them, coz I know they are my life and without them I will die.

sacrificing is such a misery word for me. in all sides, whatever it is when you think for the better go for it hit the road. When you think you can take all the pain in this world do it not just for yourself but for others.

hi cloud. sacrifice is easier said than done. but when the situation calls for it, you will be more than willing to do so for your loved ones. like you met a girl, fall in love, get married, have kids. you loved her so much and the kids that you would never leave them. but times got worse, you experienced the cruelty of life. you decided against your will to leave them and work overseas. time wasted can never be regained. so to spend your time away from your loved ones for thier good, for me is the greatest sacrifice. pleasant day.

Sacrifice means giving up things,your feelings for the sake of someone you love.We would have sacrificed something for the one we love and maybe they have also sacrificed something for our sake because they also love us its the bond between us and our loved ones that make us to do a sacrifice.For the ones that i love my parents,my GF im ready to sacrifice anything even my life isn't that what love means isn't it.But there are some people who risk their own lives to save the lives of others i think that is also a sacrifice

You are willing to take away and leave all things behind just to be with that person. You will do everything for that person. this is a good word, i often use this alot. sacrifice my life and sleep for my wife and kids. i will sacrifice my own happiness for others if it mean they will be hurt i will sacrifice my own well being to protect or save a kid or kids. we often need to sacrifice things for family and even freinds. had one person came to me and told me i told him once he need to make himself happy first before anyone. true but if by you making yourslef happy and its ended up hurting someone who is suppose to be close to you then you should sacrifice being happy for that person

If u value something /someone a lot and you let that go for someone else to be happy than you are making sacrifice. simple example suppose you like sweets a lot and having sweets after each meal is what is valued a lot by you. U come to know one day that your some family member, who also loves eating sweets is detected of diabetes and advised not to have sweets at all. Now if you eat sweet, he/she will be tempted to eat sweets and will be difficult for him/her to stay away from swetts. Realisinfg this you also leave eating sweets even though you love eating sweets a lot, for better health of that family member. Mothers are seen making this kind of sacrifice for their children. I have also seen spouses making this kind of sacrifices for their better half. I can sacrifice any thing for my love, my better half. Happy myLotting

you know who i admire when i heard or read the word sacrifice? Its Jesus Christ, i really love Him specially when He give Himself in exchange of our sins, I love Jesus Christ more than my life, i thank Him for saving us from fire of hell and now its up to us whether we follow Him or not or whether we believe Him or not, but me more than my life I believe Him! Thank God He gave us Jesus Christ His only son

A person who are not selfish, they tend to sacrifice a lot. They don't think of personal welfare, but to think of other people. It could be, it is an innate for them not to see people suffer of something.
