sometimes because of our busy schedule, we forgot to read our bible. we have no time to open it. despite, we have time to watch tv shows, movies, shopping's, and other activities that can makes us to relax and feel satisfied. we have much time to read news paper and magazines, pocket books, but tiredly to open the bible. but then, we don't know how really important to read our bible everyday. this is a food to our soul. what we have now is because we are bless.. this is the thing a realized to myself, what really important Jesus to our life. I though everything is fine, no hassle, full of happiness, but it suddenly cut-out just one click of our hand. one day i wake up i'm alone, no one will help me, full of sorrow and pain, who will comfort me? until i found out that their he is always thier for me., throw thick and thin, happiness and sorrow.he is always there for us. he always knock into our hearts to let him to comein into our life.. i know its not too late for me to serve him.. how about you? are you have enough time to read your bible?

I tried to read the bible once in a while before but i get tired and since im still kinda young theres just so much more that i want to try than reading such. Please dont judge me for this but im just being honest of what it is that i do and what it is that i dont ;)

Yes, I read the bible everyday and it became devotional for me but then I became busy and started not to read it for a while. I know I shouldn't have but then everytime I try to read the bible again, its like a devil tempts me not too and I give in :( I wanted to be hungry again on His words and right now I'm trying to make it my everyday routine again. Its just so sad that I have wrong motives to read the bible when I stopped reading it. Its like I read it because I have a problem or because I feel alone AND IT SHOULDN'T BE LIKE THAT :(

You are absolutely right! It is never too late to serve him. That is the beautiful thing about God that he's always there for us, no matter what. To answer your question on how often I read my bible. I'm ashamed to say it but it's been a loooong time since I've read mine. I also have used excuses on why I don't read mine and no excuse really is a good enough excuse. Because like you said if we can make time to watch tv, go shopping etc. than there should be no excuse to pick up our bibles for even 20 minutes out of our day and spend that time alone with God. Thanks for your post because it reminds me of how I need to spend more time with him and pick up my bible.

welcome my friend.. sometimes, there are people ashamed to discuss about God. But we really don't know how God is really important to our life. the air we breath, the beautiful sunshines, the trees, and fruit we eat, even our health and strength God give us all our needs, he made all this things on earth.. We have to thank him for all his done to our life..God love's you.. his waiting for you.. How great is our God..

the Bible clearly gives us instructions for living a life with purpose and meaning. all we need to do it to open our eyes, to think and to pay attention to what God has to say unto us..

I read the bible everyday since last Sunday. I really got convicted last Sunday service. God really reminded me that I do really need Him, He reminded me how He longs for me, how great and wonderful He is, and He reminded me everything He told me. From then on, my great hunger for Him begun to resurrect. It became alive again. I started to hunger for the word of God again. I enjoy reading it and i so much enjoy talking and praying to God. I really do hope that i could maintain this hunger no matter what, and no matter how busy I could be. Because I know the devil would really try to hinder us from spending time with the Lord and reading His word, because the word of God make us stronger, become more mature and make us know God more. The enemy does not want that so he tries everything to stop you. He may make you busy, depressed, etc... But no matter what happens, let us remember to put God first and read the bible because as the bible says, "man could not live with bread alone, but by every word of God".

NOPE .. not supposed to be often. Reading bible must be a daily habit! If it's easy for us to open any kind of magazine with so much negative contents on it, why not opening a book which will remind us of something worth while. Don't make your bibles as a figurine or for display purposes only. BIBLE is the most powerful book ever! Read it always.

as you said, bible is like a meal for me to eat. what's gonna happen if i don't eat properly? of course i'll get sick or at least there's a problem with my stomach. unfortunately, many people don't put any appreciation much on bible to read it recently. they're distracted by what is so called modernization where people more or less spending their time with something fun and give advantages psychically not spiritually. that's so bad. you know there is no such word "late" to serve God. just believe me. maybe the only thing you can do is just provide time to read the bible.

My husband and I read the scriptures every night. Even though we have a busy schedule we always spare time to read the scriptures. Its not the bible but it is another book. Another testament of Jesus Christ, it tells us about Jesus and all His teachings. It is the most correct book and its comparable to the bible. I think all people should read it to have fullness of the gospel of Christ.

Honestly no. But every time I need something that would uplift my spiritual being I consult the Bible right away, especially when I need to make major decisions about myself and my family.
