I speak not as a gamer but the long suffering mother of one!! My son has COD2, he had it pre-ordered so he could get it on the day it was released - and I have to say that he has hardly been off it since - he LOVES it!! He has X Box live and talks to his friends and plays online with them - he would certainly say "YES, it is worth buying" - hope this helps!!

pshhh nahh. id suggest getting th pyrited version of cod4 for mac or pc, theres lots of fun modifications out there like zombies, paintball, aliens, wow i couldn't even name em all!! plus its free!
