Over cautious, moi?

I have already put the time on my alarm clock forward by an hour so that I dont forget and then be late for work on Monday when I have to be up at 5.30am. Is that me being over-cautious, over-enthusiastic or just the fact that, when that shift's over I have the rest of the week off
I usually change the clocks as I go to bed on the Saturday night. When do you change yours?

Oh, I do that too
I need to get up at 5.30am but that seems so early that I put it about 15mins fast and set the alarm for 5.45... which doesn't seem as early but, is in fact 5.30 real time
My car clock is 10mins fast too so, I need to be in the carpark by 7am.... but "10past" will be ok

Are you saying you change the clock so that you think the time is an hour later all week and then you change it back on the weekends? Why not just get up an hour earlier?

No, thats not what I'm saying. We changed our clocks here in the UK for British Summer Time (Daylight Saving time) this weekend. I just changed one clock a day earlier than I needed to because thats the clock I use as my alarm on work days and didnt want to inadvertantly think it was an hour earlier than it actually was. I think 5.30am is early enough to get up.

Oh! LOL. As you can see I fell behind in my emails/alerts/responses as I was about to leave the country and I am still trying to catch up!

Our change comes between a Saturday and a Sunday. I do it Saturday night before I go to bed. My husband had a day shift that week and so had to get up early as well. It is just human nature to worry, I think.

Are you doing daylight savings time? We already did it a couple of weeks ago. And we usually do it on Sunday morning. Only time we do it the night before is if we're getting up and going somewhere on Sunday.

No, this is overcautious. My husband is the manager at a facility. He just hired a woman, who asked for December 12, 2012 off because she didn't want to be at work when the world ends. That is overcautious.

Or it is planning ahead. She is foolish in a way, though. Who is to say that she will even be alive when that date rolls around? She may even change jobs, but it is a good sign that she plans on working for you husband at least that long.

I usually adjust my watch five minutes earlier than the standard time so I would always arrive at places in time even if I'm one or two minutes late. When I turn back my watch to normal time, I would always be late for meetings.

We did it on this side of the pond a couple weeks ago already.
But to answer your question, I did it before going to bed Saturday night.

...I just hate being late but don't want to be early either and so I usually am just aware that my time is set 30 minutes ahead and in the end get late anyway...
