If I don't agree with the statements that my friend provides, I try to explain him my point of view and we usually come to mutual understanding that way. I usually don't start an argument about some senseless things, but if it's a really serious topic and my friend is obviously wrong about it, I would try to convince him to change his mind. But I do it in a friendly manner, not offensively.

I do, and I find it far more easier through writing than verbal communication. I think verbal exchanges require real time thinking, which is not always possible, leading to misunderstandings, and what nots. But here, we can afford to be polite and get our view point across. Hopefully, I am polite enough, and open to revising my views as well. :)

I do not really think about that too much. They are entitled to their opinions, no matter how wrong I think they are or how much their opinions fly in the face of what I believe. Or how much said opinions may offend me. Just like I am entitled to think they are full of it. Still, there are just some things where you just got to nod your head, because you do not trust yourself to say more than a couple of words.
My mind may be listing all of the things that I find wrong. However, they rarely if ever come out of my mouth. In fact, if many of the things that are in my mind find their way to actual spoken word, then I would be in quite a lot of trouble. Still never really point out the mistakes in their judgment. After all, I am unlikely to change their opinion. Many people are so set in their opinions to begin with that it would be a waste of oxygen on my part to point out all of their wrongs.
