I heard this statement made by my sunday school teacher and my pastor several times. I know it is very true but it never really sank in until just like night. people close to you watch you, they watch what you do, how you react to situations and places you go. A close friend of mine is having some personal problems at home I wont go into detail because she confided in me. But I was just kind of in shock when she ask me to pray for her I was very quickly reminded of that statement made by my sunday school teacher and my pastor.

sometimes words mean everything, you have to get to know when the time. when it is best for words and when is best to do. And sometimes there is a moment that nothing we can do besides pray.

That's very true indeed. Incidentally, this makes me think of another saying - Action speaks louder than words. In fact, all things in life are accomplished via action, not words or just ideas. In your friend's case, she should probably do something about her problems and at the same time pray for assistance.

Yes, that's a very important quote. Any parent knows just how very true it is. You can tell your kids anything you want, but they're only going to learn what they see, so if you tell them one thing and then do the opposite then they're not going to do what you told them, they'll do what they see you doing. It happens all the time and I know some parents that still think that telling them not to do it will clearly work when it hasn't worked so far.
