you cant access it by any means. if you want to retrieve yoru data, take your disk to some friend, attach your hard disk to his computer and copy your content to his drive. then you can copy form there to flash drive. you can reformat your disk and reinstall windows after that

If someone was going to back up the data and reformat, then the easiest way would be to boot off a Live Cd of Linux such a Ubuntu and copy the data to a flash drive. Nevertheless, this has to be a last resort because there are several ways of bypassing password security.

Sometimes diffrent computers have diffrent buttons, but normally hold F8 on startup, if not try F4. Another thing is to turn the pc on, then hold the power button, so when it turns on it comes with startup options. You want run with cmb or command line. Type in net user youraccountname newpassword or you could try user_passwords2, reaserch the commands. Thats should help, thats what i did with my XP computer.

Hi jiraiyasanin, There is 2 way possible. 1. If "Administrator" user's password is empty, then you can login as Administrator. If Administrator user not displayed. You can press CRTL+ALT+DEL key, and login promt will ask you username, password. Type Administrator as user name and login. If success you can change your password from user accounts. 2. If "Administrator" is password protected. You can use Hirens boot cd. Where you can download from http://www.hirensbootcd.net/download.html. Burn it as image to blank CD. Boot from CD. choose hirens boot, and you can find tool like Offline NT Password Changer, NTPWD, Active Password Changer, Use one of them to reset your password. Goodluck

simply try another key on startup, one of them will get you into safe mode, it is not possible that you cant get into safe mode, just some other key other than F8 is the answer, after getting into safe mode what to do is already mentioned by someone above, so please do that :-) it will work.

There is a security hole in XP making this easy if you have your XP CD. As it's long to explain, I give you a link to a post : http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/Pub0009/LPMArticle.asp?ID=305 The author explains also how to create a password reset disk. I hope this help you.
