What is the best why to protect your computer from viruses?

Well I think most of us hates virus. Then how did you protect your computer? I was advise by my friend to install DeepFreeze and so far it is working well. How about you?

arvindnair have you tried formatting it? if the data in the pen drive is not too valuable then formatting is the easiest way out.

arvindnair that is the reason your computer is freezing, 4 anti virus s/w installed will keep fighting against each other causing all kinds of problems, now removing everything completely will not help as most of it wont get uninstalled. I suggest you back up your data...

arvindnair Use the PC only as a tool to pass time or earn money, do not become dependent on it......PC addiction is the same as any other addiction, you have to give it up on your own,nothing else will help.

arvindnair please dont use the laptop by keeping on your lapt the heat it generates is bad for you and also the position is bad as it can cause medical problems, always keep it on your desk and use it.
