Final Fantasy

I just thought I would post a discussion board to show my dedication and love for the whole Final Fantasy gaming experiance. It is the best game ever, I will literally come home from work and play this till I sleep until I have completed it lol I have JUST bought a PS3 because they stopped making FF on the other Playstations (that annoyed me!!) Any other FF lovers out there?

I play very little in this game genre, being more of a tactics/ strategy gamer. i really enjoyed the film. I know that a lot of people slated the CGI, but I thought that it was a brave move, which, largely worked. What do the critics know anyway?

FF is awesome. The first final fantasy i ever played was 7 and it was the best thing ever. After that i pretty much loved any FF game, I've played all of them. Though the series is awesome i think it started to die at around 11, the online version never really floated my boat, then 12 rolled around and i didn't like it and now 13, it looks awesome but i couldn't get into it all that much.

My cousin is a fan of the series. We bought him the newest installment of the game as a gift for his birthday, we had to put the money down and he had to wait for the game to come out but when he got it he thanked us for it. He really likes the whole series too and recently there's not been many times that we've called and he hasn't been playing the game.

I'm a fan. Although the only final fantasy i've finished is ff8. I really like how they make a story. Seems abstract at first then continuously goes to the specific as the story progresses.

Huge on Final Fantasy right here. But the thing that kind of annoys me is that when the Kingdom Hearts series was made, they were used as side characters, and that was just NOT cool. Plus Yuna, Rikku, and Paine aren't little fairies, THEY'RE PEOPLE. Just aggravates me. But, yes Final Fantasy is amazing in all ways possible. My favorite so far is definitely Final Fantasy X. Yuna was amazing, Lulu was amazing, Rikku was amazing, Khimari was amazing, Seymour was weird, Auron was too quiet, Tidus was too loud, and Wakka just was there and looked stupid. Got to love it. :]

I grew up playing Final Fantasy. I rented Final Fantasy 1 from a gas station near our house for weeks at a time so I could beat it. Then I played 6 and 4 on SNES. 6 is one of my all time favorites and I have hundreds of hours on that game alone and I never get bored of it! When 7 came out on the Playstation, I was blown away. The best way I can describe my experience with that game is "EPIC!" It is my favorite game of all time (so far). The introduction on 8 was absolutely amazing, and the video sequences for 8, 9, 10, and 12 are cinematic masterpieces! The games are amazing as well, great stories, graphics, and music. Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Advance added a whole new level to my gaming experience and I spent many an hour developing job classes to better customize my characters into formidable heroes. I have even gone back and played 2,3,5, and Mystic Quest and beaten them all. I haven't had the chance to play any of the addition FF VII games like Crisis Core or Dirge of Cerberus, 11, 13, X-2 or Kingdom Hearts but I hope to in the near future. I love the Final Fantasy series, the gameplay, storylines, music, and unforgettable cast of amazing characters. I would spend all day every day playing them if I could get away with it. Thank you Square for making such amazing games for us to enjoy, and thank you Leanna for starting this discussion so we can talk about it.
