Hi there mylotters! It's summer time here in our country! ., and most of us wants to go swimming ., one of my favorite spot is boracay. this is a place where you can call it a paradise. i am so inlove with these place. but of course if you wanted to be in these you must be with someone special. it would be a great vacation if you are enjoying it with someone close to you., it could be family, friends or your significant other., just wondering??? can you go travel alone? this is really tough ., cause if i'll ask myself on that ., i cannot travel alone ., basically because i want to have a vacation wherein i could spend it with someone and share the same experience.

hello myliezl, i can travel alone but depends on the purpose of my travel. in this case that you are asking about having a vacation or going to a beautiful places for a vacation, i think even if i can, i will not do it. because i know that i will not be enjoying my stay there and my travel and i think it will be boring...hehe like you, i also wanted to go in these place with someone, like my husband...but it will be much much better if i can travel and have a vacation with my whole family! (mom, dad, brother & hubby) nothing can ever compare to the fun that we can experience from being with our family and spending a vacation and happy moments with them!

yeah and also quite fearsome specially if you are new to the place...but when you made it, it will bring some sense of achievement as well...(at least on my part)

In the past I was able to travel alone to different places in the world. I loved my sense of independence and I met other friendly travelers en-route. I stayed in backpacker hostels where world travelers hung out. I liked choosing where I was going to to. I was able to decide to stay in the accommodation that I wanted to. When I was 20 years old I traveled around the world. At age 29 years old I did another journey alone that time to French Polynesia, the Cook Islands, New Zealand and Samoa. These days I travel with my baby daughter and disabled toddler son. Yes, Boracay sounds like a tropical paradise. It is a place I would very much love to go to.

When I was younger I sometimes travelled alone, and I didn't mind travelling alone, I was still able to enjoy my trip and I got go see a lot of different things. Now I prefer to travel with my husband, and I think it is a lot more fun to be able to enjoy the trip together. I have also travelled with some friends and that has been great as well. Last summer my husband and I went to Latvia and Lithuania. It was our first together and we had a really good time. In September this year we are also going to travel together and I really look forward to it.

Hi, Myliezl. Wow, Boracay sounds wonderful and it must be a paradise as you described. I haven't experienced travelling alone, always with my friends or family; though I didn't have some real traveling outside my country. I can't imagine the feeling of traveling alone, maybe it is a real lonesome trip. I do prefer to share the fun of a trip with friends or family more than wearily palyed with myself alone. ^_^ Have nice time as you wish. Happy mylotting!

in reality, no i don't think i will be able too travel alone. besides going to places is much more fun with people close to you around. i think we will be able to have fun when we share the experience with our friends and family.

I actually just did that this past weekend and yeah, it is better to do an out of town sort of activity with a group of people than just being alone on your own. Then again, its different for everyone. Perhaps there are those who enjoy their own private time in travel compared to being with someone to keep them company. Of course, we should also consider the situation and the one that you have provided is summer. Who would want to spend a lot of time by themselves on that kind of situation indeed?

The disadvantages of travelling alone is we cant share it with someone close to us but its great to experience it.Travelling alone makes u think more and is much easier to manage because you will do what you want.

yes, why not? I have tried traveled alone, and if you do, stay in a youth hostel and you will get to engage with many travelers. I love to do that actually..and I've done that once while traveling to Capetown..
