hii dude There are lots of anti-virus available in market which are useful in some cases but they are not that much good to protect your pc and they also slow the speed of your pc by interrupting in each process. I suggest you to install any version of linux operating system because it is safest and no virus have any effect on it

There are several effective antivirus solutions. The best free ones at the moment are Avast, Avira and AVG (in approximately that order). If you want to pay for a more comprehensive package, DO NOT buy Norton. It uses more memory than is necessary and tends to slow the machine down more than others. Kaspersky is very well spoken of and the paid versions of AVG and Avast are also good. For most people, the free ones mentioned above are perfectly adequate, especially when combined with a firewall such as Zonealarm.

I have tried a lot of anti virus software. But the best I have used is the avast anti virus. Since I started using this all my virus problems have vanished! Just be sure to buy the software and to constantly keep updating it.

Hi, we've been using Free Avira Personal Antivir on our computer and it's working great. There has been no infection on the computer since it got installed.

Microsoft Security Essentials are surprising good, ever since i installed in my system all detection are cured or healed or deleted (avira offers high detection also but sometimes fails to cure the problem, avg is worse at detecting and cleaning) Commercial ANTivirus that are popular are NOD32, and Kasperksky..

I use AVG anti virus software. As this is my personal desktop and I use it only for personal usage and it does not have much critical data, I prefer to use a free anti virus. AVG fits my bill very well. I have used it for 3 years now and have not had major virus scares though there were one or two spyware attacks. Cheers! Ram

Mybe you could try a few, Mcafe, Norton or Symantec. The bewst recommendation i would give would be Mcafee, they have live scan for you in this yr 2010.

many free antivirus programs are available, all are good but they cant compete the ones that you pay for. avira and comodo are among good free antivirus software. you can easily download them from internet but if you want even better security you should buy one antivirus software

Avast home edition anti virus is the best, it is free, does not eat up system resources and is very very effective, i have been using it for the past two years and not a single virus or malware attack...absolutely superb. Just go to the link below: http://www.avast.com/security-software-home-office

No anti virus program is foolproof. The safest way to connect to the internet is to use a Linux operating system which cannot be effected by any virus. Before anyone corrects me, yes, there are linux viruses known but none carry a payload. Even safer is to use a Linux based liveCD. It is slow, but as you cannot write to a CD no virus is possible. Any memory born virus is lost when you reboot.
