I thought about this the other day when I was having leftover pizza. what is your favorite food to have the next day? I like having leftover pizza and having leftover meatloaf and even my turkey casserole is a good leftover, but not quite the same as when it is just made and right out of the oven. My favorite leftover has to be my mom's homemade lasagna when she makes too much she will freeze some of it and even after freezing and reheating it still tastes so good the next day. what is your favorite food the have the next day?

My favorite left over is chicken I could eat it all the time. I love chicken hot or cold and it is a good snack and finger lickin good as well. I have some other favorites too, Like tossed salad with blue cheese dressing or asparagus warmed in the microwave with melted cheese.

Hello, Tim. I like soups, stews and curries, because the flavour always improves overnight. I do like cold pizza as well, and I also like leftover rice, either reheated or made into a rice salad with peppers, onions, mushrooms, sweetcorn and a little chilli sauce. I try never to waste anything, so I'm pretty good at using leftovers.

Yes I would say that soup is a good leftover as my mom has a tendency to make too much and that is something that my sister likes to eat my favorite soup is probably clam chowder or chicken noodle. its always a good idea to not waste food as my mom has done too much over the years.

You mentioned my two favorites , pizza and lasagna! Pizza is always good at anytime, in almost any form! And I think lasagna tastes better the next day. It is like all the flavors marinate overnight and get stronger. i know waiting helps the layers to set so it is easier to cut . But it just tastes better. My mom made the best lasagna!

Yes I did I think that was the first pizza I had from there in quite a while and they had a 2 medium for 5.99 deal going, but the catch was you had to order 2 pizzas so I did and they were both very good and tasty.

yeah my mom will make too much when she makes her lasagna so there will always be leftovers so she will freeze them and they still taste so good the next day even after being frozen. I had some leftover pizza the other day from dominoes then went to Pizza Hut the next day but got the lasagna instead of a pizza so no leftovers that time.

My favorite leftover is homemade mac and cheese. I never have to worry about freezing this dish. There is usually nothing left to freeze because it will be eaten in no time.

You said it. Pizza is my favorite leftover. It still has that cheesy taste after a whole day. It also still tastes good. The crust I usually never eat though, I like the crust when its fresh. Lasagna is always still good after a day. It still has that rich taste. -Rezz

The crust is usually the worst part of the pizza the next day and I usually don't eat that part, but the lasagna is still so good the next day.

oh, yes! left over pizzas are good even the next day. i think they are even better than first served. especially if reheating it would mean the pizza would be toasted. me, my brother and my mom loved it when the pizza is really crunchy so often times we'd put it in the oven to brown the crust giving it crispy taste. =) i do not like left over pastas though, especially if they are tomato based. i always think that tomato based food gets spoiled easily. there is also another dish here in the Philippines, its called Adobo. it is usually a meat seared in soy sauce. its really a good left over because you can use the meat and eat it with a bread. its always good!! :D

beef caldereta is a spanish-like stew that the more you re-heat it, the better tasting it becomes because the thick spiced sauce with cheese just tastes even better. hehe ok needless to say, that's my favorite leftover. we eat it with steamed rice. and since i'm a pizza-pasta kinda girl too... i like baked macaroni and lasagna even if it's a leftover. like pizza, after reheating them is as good as before hehe. pizza a little crunchier on the crust and the pasta just absorbed the cheesy taste from the sauce and toppings. hehe

well I think you know how much I love lasagna seeing as I went to a pizza place and ordered it and I don't mind saying I was more then a little disappointed in the portion that you got at Pizza Hut of it. For the price you pay for the lasagna and you get mostly sauce and hardly any lasagna I was very disappointed in it. It was tasty, however you didn't get much lasagna for the price you pay for it and I doubt I'd ever want to get that again seeing how small the portion is.

Hi, timhinyy. My favorite leftover foods to eat is, homemade macaroni and cheese or dirty rice and baked chicken wings or drumsticks. If your mom can freeze up lasagna and then reheat it and it still tastes yummy, then your mother is one great cook!

Leftover Pasta? - Pasta Lover
Yes, pizza is a favorite leftover food. I just have to re-heat and it really tastes just as good as fresh. I also love leftover pasta. Any kind of pasta seems better tasting the day after so I always want to have leftover pasta. I'd keep them inside the fridge and reheat. The taste is even better, I swear!

I like adobo or mi goreng. Yum Yum yum. It's one of my favorite leftovers. I like also pinakbet, an Ilocano dish straight from the ref. Yum! I read about umami, it is something that brings out the falvours in food so I guess that's responsible about the good taste. I love also pasta, like what you're mentioned, lasagna. I think if it's got a great sauce, would be tasty.

you will have to tell me what this adobo is? I think any pasta dish either chicken parm or spaghetti, lasagna would be great still the next day and when my mom makes the lasagna there is always leftovers and they are so good still the next day.

Wow, this is not an easy question. I would say pizza is high on the list but anything really good is still good the next day when you are still thinking about how good it was and wanting more. I have had pizza for breakfast many times! LOL!

mine is kfc chicken steamed the next day. forget whether it's the original variant or the hot and spicy one for they would taste exactly the same. why do i love this leftover kfc, placed in the ref then steamed the next day? and why kfc? it's not the chicken. it's the breading! i don't know how you might react to this but i love eating that soggy breading with rice. and i don't think my taste in food is questionable for i love eating. i guess it's the secret magic herbs and spices of kfc working its magic .

Ooh this is a tough question! I think pizza the next day tastes great! I also love re-heating my veggie/beef mix pasta the next day. Sometimes I think that foods taste better on "day 2." I think because the flavor has had time to really sink in! YUM!

I guess it just depends on what you are in the mood for the next day, but sometimes I am just in a pizza mood so having that is great for a quick lunch and that eliminates something from the fridge.

I hate leftovers but theirs are some filipino food that is become more delicious when its 3rd or 4th time been recook..lolz. I'm not really good in memory of food names. But as long that food is marinade, or has coconut milk on it. Their a big chance that food is good if its already in the 4th recook..lolz.

I love any leftover that came from my favorite restaurants namely President, Pizza Hut, Outback, Wai Ying, Mann Yann, Terriyaki Boy, Bakahan at Manukan, and all other restaurants that currently escapes my memory. I'm getting very hungry now.

The pizza hut one is probably the one that I end up having the most as there always seems to be leftovers when we get pizza and it is still ok to eat the next day not as good as when it is first made, but not too bad either.

When I make enchiladas, I make a huge casserole-type enchilada, so I can eat enchiladas for almost a week. I always say I'm going to make enough to freeze, but I keep eating leftovers until there's nothing left to freeze. Cold pizza isn't bad either...

yeah I like the pizza the next day not quite as good as when it was fresh, especially the crust that can be a bit hard whether its dominos or Pizza Hut but the pizza is still good I don't have much mexican, but I love tacos when they are fresh that doesn't usually make for a great leftover.

I would love Adobo. It is a local dish in Phiippines. I like it the next day because the flavor sips in overnight. So, every day delayed, it tastes better and better :)

I am not familiar with that dish so if you want to can you tell me more about it like what it has in it. I love the lasagna as a leftover if it is frozen and reheated it tastes just as good as when it was first made and if you have a dish like that it is so good.
