Miserable Rotten, Stinkin Pink Eye AGAIN!!! Go Away will ya???

AAARRGGHHHH!!!! [u][/u] I'm so sick of being "SICKLY" of late....Geez-Louise!
I can't seem to get over anything; 
I've had a sore throat from hell, feels like I swallowed broken glass this has gone on now for almost 10 days, from that it went into a cold and since April 4th I've
had STINKIN PINK EYE....UGH! I HATE PINK EYE!!!!!!!!!
and now of course its in both eyes ......
Ever had Pink eye? its not fun trust me...

We've had really nice weather of late, so many things I need to do outside, and can't.
I've so many flowers I want to get planted and CAN'T.....AAARRGgghhh!!
Here I make it all winter long without a major crisis health wise ( for me) just
the usual aggravation and since Spring I've basically been sick..it SUCKS!!
I have Strawberry's staring at me too begging me to plant them, hopefully soon in a few days I can, hopefully soon;

i'm so sorry to hear about your illness... i know how miserable you must be at the moment... i had ever experienced pink eye before... but it had been a long time since i haven't experience pink eye again... thank God for that... anyway, i hope you will recover and get well soon... just get lots of rest and drink lots of water... that's what i do when i am sick... take care and have a nice day...

Yes Pink eye is very miserable indeed; I was hoping last year was the last time I'd
get it but nope once again it has found me...(sigh)!!

Gee whiz sorry to hear that your feeling poorly. Hope you get to feeling better real soon. Its springtime-time to get outside and blow some stink off. I have been lucky (knock wood-knocking my head), I have been basically well. I had pink eye once when I was real young, don't remember it much. My granddaughter recently had it and she was miserable and looked miserable too. I hope you can get outside soon and plant your stuff.

Yeah I need to do so much stuff outside and was hoping I'd feel like doing some of it
today but that's not gonna happen now, see the discussion I just started a few

Nope I have never had a Pink eye and at the sounds of things do not want it either
I think your Body is lacking some Vitamins there Girl, I suggest that you might get some and see how you go with it

Hi Gabs; I take vitamins daily when I can swallow that super sized horse pill;
I also get vitamin B-12 shots monthly.
I just can't fight off infections of any kind, germs etc..etc..etc...so when
I get something it hits me hard....
so how are you doing?? and Little Gissi???

yea,i had it once.suck don't begin to describe it.
i babysat a friend's kid once,and they didn't tell me the kid was infected.
i wasn't too happy about that.ended up losing a week of work too,because they don't want you there if you have that.

I've never understood why some people are like that you know?
For all the kids that live here by me and that like to come over to visit all the time, I let all of their parents know that I was sick, very contagious and would
be for another week or so I might have to extend that time line a bit longer as I'm
still not well...my eyes are doing much better but I've still got this awful cough,
and God_awful headaches;
You take care now and I pray you never have to go through this again;

Does your doctor have a note in your file that says "high risk of pink eye" like ours did about strep? My kids got it a couple of times and I think I had it once, but it does seem to like you a whole lot!! Are you using all the meds they give you - meaning, not stopping them when you feel better, but using them until they're gone? Maybe this is a resistant strain of the crap. AND, if you've had a sore throat for 10 days, you need to contact your doctor. Deb had strep. If you do and don't treat it, it can develop into Rheumatic Fever. I know it's a pain financially to get to the doctor, but it's a whole lot more costly if you end up hospitalized or deceased, my friend!!

Well, good luck with that. I had one time when I thought I had pink eye but it turned out I was allergic to my fabric softener. Once I started tearing the sheets in half (after stopping using them for a while), my eye improved and it never happened again.

Yeah they've got all that in the file, Yep I always use all my meds 99.% of the time anyway..(G)!!
I had gone to my doctor on the 5th regular appointment and he gave me some antibiotics then and within a few days it had gotten WAY WAY WAY WORSE
and on Monday the 12th I asked for something stronger which he then put me on
Avelox good stuff but it makes me "sickly" I only have enough for 10 days but
will be lucky to stay on it for 7, we shall see;

Hope you get well soon. It's quite contagious and itchy. I guess, it's airborne cause here in our place if a person caught the virus, everybody in the family get it too. Oh! I hate it! It's been spreading now in this summer season here in our country.

HI junrapmian: Yes you are so right its very very contagious; I have an 83 year
old Father who I've tried to stay away from the last couple of weeks, and all the
neighbor kids that live here by me, they don't understand LOL!
They've not been allowed in to visit or anything...

To my knowledge, I have never had pinkeye. I used to get an irritation at this time of year, or a little earlier, when I would go to visit family further south. I felt like the pollen just absolutely got to me, and yes my eyes would be red and irritated. They never gunked up though and sealed shut. I hope you get to feeling better soon. I just have some personal issues that are interfering with my enjoyment of spring.

I felt like the pollen just absolutely got to me, and yes my eyes would be red and irritated. They never gunked up though and sealed shut. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Spring weather yet either....
That's what my stupid body does I just can't fight off any sill germs, infections,
nothing...I'm a big old "puss"...LOL!
