God did create Adam and Eve as perfect and good. HE placed them in a Garden and told them to be fruitful and multiply, attend the garden, and that they could eat every fruit of the trees of the garden except for the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Well they disobeyed, and the serpent beguiled Eve so she ate that fruit and gave it to her husband, Adam. From then on, their eyes were opened and they lost the instinct to shy away from evil. That is when sin took control. So what you have to do is to read the first three chapters of Genesis in the Bible and also it would help to talk to a pastor.

You have to find a pastor of a church that believes the whole Bible, and is not just a social gathering. Often those churches are a bit strict, but they can answer your questions.

Find a pastor who is confident in his faith. I notice people getting all defensive at a simple question about their religion as if they are being attacked. Maybe because they're afraid they don't have a good answer. I know I wouldn't because I'm still learning. I have not always been Christian. Some things as I've said before can only be told by God

You know what? You better read the Holy Bible. As far as I know, God created us to be like Him, he didn't create sinners... Again, just try to read the Holy Bible.

For one thing: God the Father created Man and man was created good. Man also was create with a free will. Nothing God creates is bad..But because we are given the freedom to do bad or good ..there is sin. Some people choose to do bad.

I agree with you littlefranciscan. God created men good. Men have chosen to follow the bad route. And Jesus has to come down here to save us all. Really prodical children, I suppose.

Hi vine, I see many people here had let you know the truth, that God didn't create man bad, that man made that choice to allow sin into his life. Also to read your bible was another good idea. But if your pastor gets mad at you for asking questions, I seriously hope you can find another church to go to, because that is not showing the love of Christ when he is not taking the time to lovingly explain it to you..

This is a question I've also often wondered. People say "God is god and he knows everything that has and will happen". If thats so then I'm pretty sure he had to know what would become of Adam and Eve and that sin would result from this. Really they were both innocent according to the bible not knowing right from wrong so how were they suppose to know it was wrong to disobey him? I mean.. that was kind of set up from the start. I think only God can answer that question.

I like the wisdom given to you from the myLotters on this discussion. I add my two cents. I agree, read the Bible and go to Bible study. Hoping not to be blasphemous, I say that God could have made us like the ants and bees -- have us go by instinct. The ants and bees do their roles for the hive's survival. Man was given free will and moral codes to go by. We can also do like the ants and bees for our world to survive. But there is a near infinite amount of selfish lusts that get in the way of that kind of world. We see it by war, fighting, the breaking of treaties, trickery, etc. And who displays those lusts to us? As it goes, God had His perfect place for humans called Eden. He also had angels. One angel was God's right hand man. This angel had taberets and other beautfiful garb and things. Yet, this angel did something that went against God. From what I see, this angel let pride ruin the relationship. He probably thought he could do things better than God. So God tossed this angel out of Heaven. This fallen angel, is Satan. And Satan hates mankind. He will do whatever he can to convince, to beguile, ... So Bin Laden isn't the only human Satan has tricked. Many who call(ed) themselves Christians, Moslems, Buddhists, Blacks, Whites, men, women, teachers, etc. have all been tricked into doing things that they have/or have not regretted doing but which was against God's laws.

Hi Vine, Your understanding of the English is improving, I hope. I have read your post of discussions and the answers that your friends have posted and nowhere do I find that any of them said that Jesus created man. Jesus did die for our sins but God created man in his own image and good and without sin. Man disobeyed God and that is where sin started. I am sorry that you do not understand, maybe that Satan has his control of your mind and will not let the inspired word of God in. If you will believe with your heart and confess with your mouth you will be saved. This is not to say you will not sin because you wil but God is faithful to forgive you of those sins.

Your response makes me think that you do not read the response or you disreguard it and just put down a continuation of your own thoughts. Not saying you should stop but you should consider what you are saying and asking, you keep repeating things that have been answered and it seems that if it is not the answer you like you repeat it in another discussion. It's almost like you are spamming the boards to earn a lot of money. That won't happen the people here like to see a lot of good discussions and if you keep saying the same thing all the time they may start giving you little money.

@manleyjoe: I agree with you. This is going nowhere, if a person we are sharing our opinions with do not have the heart to learn in her own way to accept God in her life then what is the use of this anyway? We share because we thought it can help her a little, we are not here to make money, to increase the number of our discussion started and discussion shared. But, we are here to shed light to those who are weary.

Cause that would be boring. Who wants to watch that? This is all just a reality show. Cameras are watching you all the time. I think humans are good. God did make them good. But people have free will, the ability to make choices, their own decisions. Unfortunately they often make the wrong ones. That's how we learn, and become better. If you have no free will, you're just a zombie. There's no improvement, no becoming better. Society, and media make people the way they are.

Actually Adam and Eve was created as sinless... but because they ate from the one tree that they were not supposed to Sin was created.... It was not God's intention to have sin..... It does not state in the Bible how long they lived in the Garden without doing sin either.....

Well, man was created to be good originally and then Eve and Adam ate the forbidden fruit. That was the start of people having sin, it is known as the original sin. At that point all of the other sin was began. In the course of time from the creation of life until Jesus' life, there were more sins that were done by humans. Jesus was sent into the world to repent for the sins that human beings had committed.

My belief states that Jesus was not a creator, vine. He is a mediator of our sin to God. The only creator is God "The Father" in heaven who's no beginning and everlasting. Punishment was giving throughout since the first man committed sin that's why God created Jesus to mediate us to Him for the forgiveness of our sin by following and doing His teachings.

I just rcently started reading the bible. I havebeen wondering the same thing. God and Jesus are the same and they created man with sin in their hearts and new they were going to sin. So why get angry and punish so harshly when they did all they know how to do. Then the sacraficeing of all the animals. I am an animal lover and think any killing of animals is unecessary. God created animals yet he wanted us to kill them to wash away our sin? No that does not make sense to me. The God in the bible is angry not loveing.

You may want to go back and read that part. God created man as sinless and not with sin in his heart. Sin came into the picture when man disobeyed God and succumbed to the temptation of Satan by eating the fruit of the tree that God had forbidden him to eat.

You know Vine, I don't hear many people say this, but we really can't treat Adam as if he were a full grown man like us. Yes, Adam was a child in a man's body. He didn't have knowledge until he started eating fruit from the trees. And Adam was specifically told not to eat of the tree of "Good and Evil." So like us, Adam had to learn like we did. But we had more time to do it. But eating from that specific tree with Satan's urging, was what got us in this mess. And yes, it was Eve that Satan actually tricked. Back to Adam though, we all have things around the house that we forbid children to touch. Sometimes they do it anyway. We tell them not to go down to the dock and we get bad news that our child drowned. There is much in this world and universe that must be avoided. The act of obedience is very important. I look at today with children being killed for being in the wrong place at the wrong time and the heartbreak because their parents had told them not to go there. So as I said in one of my earlier posts, not being ants or bees, our right to choose should mean a right not to disobey. Being free to obey because we love God and ourselves is better than being forced to do things by instinct.

thanks, manleyjoe you keep on eye in each answers, i amaze, god had forbidden him to eat. How old is he? Is he a child? it seems that there is no control over him, god had no control over him. He had done mistake. and god can't do anything. and i amaze, you are doing mistake, and god crucify. God crucify just for your mistake. You need to be crucify for your mistakes. why god? lols I see, these days child do the same things, if we say don't do this, without our presence they will do bad things. -vine.

I would like to know if you do believe in GOD or no. I will try to make you understand. I really hope that you understand what I have mentioned. The holy God cannot let sin go unpunished. To bear our own sins would be to suffer God’s judgment in the flames of hell. Praise God, He kept His promise to send and sacrifice the perfect Lamb to bear the sins of those who trust in Him. Jesus had to die because He is the only one who can pay the penalty for our sins

Even among Christians, even knowing that there is God is not enough to really be convinced that he exists. A person needs to live in a prayerful relationship with Him in order to really believe in that. But asking questions though is a beginning. Believing always begins in the head before it gets down into the heart. I'm glad that you have started to ask questions. But always remember that knowing about God will never be enough. Knowing God, as a personal being that interacts with you, will.

Jesus did not create people. God created people. When a new child is born he/she is pure and sinless. God gave mankind freedom of choice as to how we live our lives. Man and only man chooses to sin or not to sin.

Basically it comes down to free will. According to what I have been taught, when God created man, God created man with the ability to think for themselves. Ideally he wanted man to woriship him, but not for the "wrong reasons" meaning as they were programed that. "sin" is created from the ability to make choices, and to chose the path that is right for you.

HI vine! you are amazing then,i am still thankful that you shared your own thoughts and ideas resulting of your curiousity... in such thing it may helps you learn along the way. I believe the only solution i can help for you is to pray that somehow The Holy Spirit will let you understand all the questions you hope for to be answered.I consider myself not perfect to elaborate and explain all things to you as we are limited in our own understanding and not perfect in our ideas. It is the Holy One and i also believe that you also somehow has God in yourself. I also have questions regarding lot of matters that people don't know how to respond, the last thing i can do is to let the Holy Spirit fill up my emptiness and unanswered questions be answered. All i know is that God is LOVE... If you have LOVE then you have GOD after all...

That is because He gave us free-will. He could have created a perfect world if He wants to but then we are very much privileged to experience all of life's ups and downs
