When your coffee gets cold...

what do you do? Do you pour it away and make a fresh cup, stick it in the microwave or just drink it anyway? As usual, I've made my coffee, brought it in here, started typing and forgotten about it. So, its just mildly tepid. Being too lazy to do anything else, I just drank it as it was. Most times, I'd drink at least part of it even if its cold because, I dont like waste and I'm not keen on re-heated coffee.

Come to Greece for a holiday and a cold coffee! That's right, coffee is mostly served cold here. It's a Greek delicacy and habit - very strong cold coffee which is sipped slowly over several hours. Of course, the Greeks don't have the style of Italian coffee - this is made from Nescafe!

I went to Rhodes once... about 20years ago... I prefer my coffee a bit weaker and my tea really strong. I can make coffee last much longer than tea... cold tea is really not good.

If I am upstairs, just drink it anyway. Downstairs, I will microwave it, or drink some and add hot to it. I do this a lot, can you tell?

If I'm in the kitchen I'll usually do the drink some/add hot thing or, if its a cold day. I usually remember it before its stone cold - tho I do like cold coffee thats supposed to be cold... a nice frappe latte

Whenever any kind of hot beverage gets cold then I would normally just re-heat it in the microwave. After all, I wanted it hot to being with.

That's true but, somehow, it just doesn't taste the same re-heated.

The last cup of coffee I drank was cold. At first, i kinda liked it. Then that after taste kicked in. I then decided that I really didn't need to drink coffee to help get me started in the morning. Rather I have orange juice3, green tea, or even some cocoa pebbles instead.

I dont usually have my first cup till at least 10am and, if I'm working it might be 4pm by the time I get round to having one. Its mid-evening here and I'm just settling in for an hour or so on-line.

I make my coffee ahead of time. I have 3 thermos and fill them all with coffee so all I have to do is pour myself a cup. When it gets cold, I stick it in the microwave but most of the time, I'll drink it cold lol.......me must be getting lazy!!

Good planning. I couldn't drink that much in a day but its a good strategy to have one thermos at the computer

hey wizzywig..i love coffee and like having it piping hot. so if it gets cold, if i'm like really really lazy, i would drink up because as you said, i wouldn't wanna waste some good ole coffe now, would i? but if i'm not all that lazy i would definitely move my butt and go heat the coffee. nothing like piping hot coffee to get you going. also i like my coffee sweet and strong with thick milk..nice and fattening you see :-)

I like mine quite weak, with a bit of skimmed milk and no sugar. I like my tea strong!

I only drink tea at my mums house because I dont like it made in a cup...and she has a teapot. it just doesnt taste the same as it does if its made in a teapot and then poured.

Most of the time a drink only needs to be wet. Its nice to have a warm cup on a cold day or if you're feeling a bit fragile.

Well, the big "they" are trying to market iced coffee, so just pretend you meant to have cold coffee.

Usually when my coffee gets cold,I don't want to drink it thatway,so I pour it out and perk a fresh hot cup to replace it with.
