here?" Years ago, I watched TV and in the Netherlands, I saw a special about how the people wore lifejackets when skating in case they fell in so they wouldn't sink below and freeze. They also had a rope around them so someone could pull them out. Additionally, they had claws so they could pull themselves out. They even cut a hole in the ice and had people practice. Lately, people have been wearing and are being told to wear life jackets when skating. Finally, we're catching up, but very slowly! They're rescuing more live people instead of recovering dead bodies. We've even got a houvercraft (spelling?) up here and I've always thought those were cool whenever I saw them up here. So now we have a great way to rescue people that works on ice and water. Often, I watch shows and think what a great idea that is, wish that was here. Or someone on Mylot will tell of something great about what their country does or concerning something. Then I think that would be great here. Not always a different country, sometimes even a different state. Like in Austrailia (spelling?) they have boot sales (sales in their car trunks) and one church is now doing it. Isn't the internet wonderful? Also TV when it helps people like this? So what would you like to incorporate where you live that you've seen or heard about in other places?
