Hi friends, Do you see a particular dream again and again. I have one dream repeating all the time, and not only that I see same places and people, but I also continue with the story from where I had ended it in my last dream.....It is like I have one life with open eyes and another life in my dreams. I see a huge train engine which scares me....I see a lonely railway platform which again is scary....but then I see a familiar village, roads, fields, cows..... and people with whom I talk as if I know them very well...Isn't that strange.....?????? Now some of you will surely say, this has something to do with my past life.......but what is the proof....... Have any of you had such experience , please share as this is very interesting to me. Thanks.

Interesting...not only could this be linked to your past life...but it can also be linked to your future (if you believe in ESP). But if you consider the psychoanalytic theory, it could symbolise some hidden fear or emotion inside you...which is in your sub conscious and even you do not realize that you have it when you are awake. It could probably be related to something that happened in your childhood (mostly unpleasant) which you have managed to push to the back of your mind and not really think about it....but the thoughts are in your head...without you being conscious of it.

Exactly SV...I agree with you here.....Its something to do with her past I think.....But there is no need for Apsara to be pertubed about it or to subject herself to hypnosis,as someone has pointed out in some previous discussion..

hello Sviswan and hello Rose, I think here you two have caught the right point..Yes my childhood was a kind of nightmare.....and that was the reason for loss of my self-confidence.......and at present, feeling of insecurity and fear for my children. being over protective towards them etc etc.......surely this has something to do with my dream. Anyway........nothing to worry, I have learnt to live with this.....so lets smile and have great life........Thanks for helping me to explore myself.

hi, apsara, It's better to put your quarries here. Surely you can get some help from here too. I love to share feelings....and you have done the same... IF you don't like to consult to doctors, or others...i'll advice you that...just don't think about that dream always...don't give importance in that dream... if you see in the night, when you wake up...let go.. You need to be occupied from works, like mylotting, be engaged some where, make your mind fully occupied...let that thinking will not come into your mind... I will give you example. IF YOU Like to forget that dream, don't keep in your mind that you have to forget that dream, don't keep in repeating in your mind that i have to forget that dream. If you do like this you will not forget that dream. THat will come again and again. To forget that dream you have to think other things, like listening, writing...i said it ahead... here's the example , how to forget your dream If you like to forget the number 2. what would you do? You don't have to think about 2 again and again. Just remember the no 3. or any number..4.. just keep on saying four...you certainly forget no 2. it's just a example...it will work for words or anything what comes in your mind... the formula is just being occupied. -vine.

Apsara, you are related to mind. Doctor will not cure that...i suggest you to go to...hypnotist. Just choose a good one. Who really knows. He/she will take that thing out from you. Believe me. you will be at ease. -vine.

professor, May be, it's something from the past lives... that is till in mind. Mind can't forget still. Very deep in mind, at the buttom of the mind. In the sub-conscious. Ya, it's better her to treat with hypnotic, who go through his past live activities and know the cause. They can throw that feeling from your mind. And i am sure you can't see that kind of dream again. After the treatment. -vine.

My thanks to both of you for your valuable replies. I am not very serious about this dream, I have no intention to go for any kind of treatment... As long as it is not doing me any harm, why should I think of treatment. This is just a discussion.

hie apsara, maybe there is a message in the dream but i dont know how to interpret them. you reflect them over and think back of past events in your life as these may help. perhaps you may be embarking to go to a distant land by yourself and that is why you feel anxious and fearful. then later you see familiar villages etc, meaning you come back and get reconnected to those people and places that you have to leave earlier. i really dont know. only you, apsara, can search your heart, mind, soul and body to get the indications and direstions. pray for a breakthrough. as for me, i hardly remember my dreams nowadays. i had childhood dreams of running and running in a race and i dug deep into my heels to reach the finishing line. when reaching the finishing line in my dream, i was so exhausted and thirsty that i got up. indeed when i got up from my dream and my sleep, i was very thirsty and really exhausted. i really got up and drank a big mug of water before returning to bed to continue my sleep like a big log of wood. the dream occured 2 to 3 am in the wee hours of the morning, a very good time to slumber. later that dream was interpreted in this way. i was studying very very hard to achieve my desired results to get into universities and to secure scholarship as no way i can go to the universities on my own finance. the same dream occured after i graduated. this time , the dream interpretation was that i was searching and searching for a job after graduation. i was blessed and got into the service of the government. then this dream ceased. oh yes an indeed a sweet and happy ending dream for me. i felt so blessed and thank God. i heard of people with business failures had frequent dreams of snakes and even when they went overseas, these snake dreams followed them. but each time at the end of the dream, the snakes were crushed and killed. the dream interpretation, the businessmen struggled over his business failures and finally their business recovered. when the businessmen business went in the black ( making profits) the snake dreams ceased. goodness truimph over evil or success has overtaken failures. it does makes sense, right. at night before getting ready to sleep, pray your bedtime prayer before sleeping. thanks and praise God. include in your prayer when you feel comfortable, ask God to renew and refresh your mind when you sleep. ask God to guard your mind and body when you are sleeping. ask Him to protect you and guard your mind from bad dreams and nightmares. let there be peace while you sleep and rest. i always do this prayer and ask God to forgive me and my family and closed ones before i sleep. these thoughts i share with you and hope they are a comfort to you, apsara

Hi apsara! I know you love starting discussion about weird dreams.........lol! Please do not read too much into your dreams. Many a times, I find myself travelling in a train and I do not find myself reaching my destination, something happens on the way and the train does not reach at the destination .........lol! I cannot interpret much about dreams but you seeing familiar villages, roads and animals etc. could be related to your past life. You see many of our past and present memories get stored in one part of our brain, which is called the sub-conscious mind. Our sub-conscious mind works during our sleep/dream. Those of our stored memories which we are unable to visit/re-visit during day team, keep coming in our dreams. Take it easy, dreams have no relations with reality.

Obviously you are busy helping people to find their ways, (Either solving there problems, helping them or making them smile by your jokes)...itni der meh toh subha ho jaati hogi....

same dream again and again! I think your concentrating a lot with the same dream. I think your getting the same dream because of this reason. Don't afraid for the dreams. Stop thinking about it. What we are thing more, we can see this in our dreams. This is nature and itis called psychological effect.

God must be sending you a message. You must know what the message is all about. I wish I could help you interpret it but I am not like Joseph the Dreamer. Sorry! It is very rare to have recurring dreams. In fact it never happened to me at all. There are times that I wish some of my dreams which were really very beautiful come again but my wish did not happen at all.

Hello, We all see dreams which are just a reflection of our own subconscious mind. The things that pass through consciousness are deposited in subconscious part. When we stay awake, we are in full control of our mind, that is, we have a choice to think or not to think about a certain object or a situation. But when we are asleep the subconscious part is unleashed and wanders around quite freely. These hidden thoughts are often released and erased in this phase. Now, if you are seeing the same dream again and again and part or the whole of it is scary, then you should immediately consult a therapist and tell him everything about it. Probably you have experienced something in the past that imparted this secret fear in your mind. Our mind is like a lump of wax. You never know what impressions are created there, as they often overlap to shape a cryptic figure. Now, there is a need to face the secret fear of yours. Once you face it you will be completely free from it. You need to take help from an expert if you are serious about it. thanks God bless you

Hi getbiswa2000, Yes I agree with you. Dreams are just our thoughts stored in our sub-conscious mind. I am not worried about it at all.I like this topic and that is why I started this discussion. I think there is nothing serious in this dream. There is nothing to face in this.......dreams are just dreams.......Thanks for your reply and God bless you too.

hello qamarep, If I will go to astrologer or someone, then they will tell me strange things, may be they will tell me I see train engine and railway platform, because in future I will die in train accident. This may or may not be true, but to know this in advance will make me sick and I will die with unnecessary fear even before time.......so it is better not to take this dream seriously.....Thanks for your reply.

When I was young I never had that kind of dreams. But when I am in a relationship with my boyfriend now, I keep on dreaming about him and other people. We are always in different place and we are talking in different and foreign people. Its also a continuous dream. First we are in the airport then the next one we are in different place. Then after that we are doing strange things, like volunteer in some civic groups. Its really different and quite interesting.

Ah dreams can be so creepy sometimes. I haven't had a dream that repeats over and over again but maybe it means you've become fixated on something. Who knows though, the only answer probably lies within yourself. Good luck finding it! :)

sometimes dreams may be your subconscious mind trying to work out a problem. maybe there is something bothering you and you cannot find a solution to it so your subconscious mind takes over while you sleep. when i was a teenager i used to have dreams that would continue; sometimes for successive nights, sometimes after a few nights. if the dream was good i would try to think about it before i sleep hoping it would continue but more often than not when i try to consciously have the same dream or a continuation of the dream, it does not happen. as i grew older, i no longer have such dreams.

hello charylady, may be you are right. Next time when this dream will repeat, I will try to note-down, what events had happened one day before..It may be possible that I get such dreams when I am really stressed or worried about something. I should note what has been stored in my subconscious mind. I am sure there should be some logical meaning behind these dreams. Thanks for your reply.

May be then I will also try..... Have a nice day and thanks for your reply.

dream - sleep soundly
maybe there's something that's been bothering you.or you have ESP.sometimes dreams are things that we kept on thinking about.sort of problems related on things around you.people you see in your dreams may sometimes have a problem or you have a problem with them.try to research on meaning of dreams.maybe that will help.i,once like dream of something weird and scary. please see my link http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2290860.aspx i really don't know why i had a dream like that,it makes me weak. i don't understand how to react after that. but praying will surely help before sleeping. try to clear your mind before sleeping and forget things that is bothering you.
