Now i stay in China for my study. Whenever i go any restaurant i saw chopstick there. As Chinese people use it. As i stay in China so i must know how to use it. That's why sometime i try. Moreover when i eat noddles in restaurant then i use it always. But before i really feel difficulty.
How about you? Do you know? Did you ever try to use it?
And do you like this custom?

i know how to use chopstick but im not contented using it, i mean i still prefer spoon and fork as i know i can eat a lot from it than in chopstick, i wonder why they love to use it as spoon and fork is still the best for food. if i used chopstick i feel that i cant taste with what i eat and im not become full.

I was born in a country where we usually eat with knife and fork, but I am able to eat with with chopsticks as well.
The first time I had to eat with chopsticks I found it difficult and it took me a long time to finish my meal
At that time I went to an international school in my country and one day one of our teachers invited us for dinner in his home. His wife was Japanese and she had cooked Japanese food for us. There were were no knives or forks on the table only chopsticks, some of us had never eaten with chopsticks before, and if was difficult for us to eat that way, but it was also interesting to try something different.
Now I am able to eat to with chopsticks, and when I visit an Asian restaurant or eat Asian food at home I often use chopsticks.

In our country, what we use for eating is spoon and fork but I did learn how to use chopstick because my aunt taught me how to use it. Nowadays, there are many chinese restaurant here and my knowledge in using chopstick is an advantage whenever I dine in them.

Yes, I know how to use it even if I am a Filipino. hahaha. I can say its due to my curiosity and my perception that it's cool if you know how to use it. I've learned to use chopsticks when I was 4 years old, I saw my korean classmate (foreign exchange student) eating and using her chopsticks so when I got home I tried to find the chopsticks that my brother has and tried it. :) I practice and practice until I got a hang on it. :)
