To all those who have gone to several places, all over the world.... could you let us know to which place you have been to that you think is incomparable to the other places you have been with, and why do you say that it is the best, the most wonderful, or the most beautiful place you have ever been to? Share your experiences with us so we all could have a view, or a glimpse of the world or places you guys have been to as well?

Nice topic Chiyosan. I got a lot of places to tell that I have been to because God has given me a chance to go to these place and enjoy the beauty or work of art of God. I visited Bahrain, it is part of the gulf country which is an open country not like the other middle east country. Anyway me and my brother stayed there for a couple of months to visit our folks who work there. It is also a good place because there's a vast mixture of nationalities that live there. You get to taste different types of foods too. We visited places like Isa Town, Manama which is the capital, Sanad, Um-mal hassam and lots more. I also appreciated India to where I live now because of its natural touch of beauty and I am happy to see lots of animals living freely and roaming on city streets without problem. I visited a lot of places in India like New Delhi to where we visited my hubby's auntie there, I also toured much of the city to where I live in Mumbai and I also toured in Matheran Hill Station and most of all I like Goa. Goa is to where you can enjoy sun, sand and sea. For me Goa is a combination of Boracay, Laguna and Batangas. It is really a wonderful place. I am also longing to visit much more of India like Calcutta, Kerala and Mahabaleshwar. Back to my own country, since my mom is an Ilokana (from the north) we always visit our relatives in Baguio City and La Union. I studied in Baguio for 1 year and I enjoyed a lot of places there like what you have said. I also like Palawan, Cebu, Davao and Boracay as tourist destination. I hope I can visit the famous Pearl Farm in Davao, Ilocos and lots more.

Most beautiful place Ive been to is Boracay Island in the Philippines. :) One of the BEST beach Ive ever been to. Next to it is Banana Island in Palawan, Philippines. All are white sand, with long stretch of it. Island in the sun!

That's a pretty tough question chiyosan. I guess if I had to choose one place, out of all of the others, I would say New York City. It was such a diverse city. The people were also very nice. I think a lot of times we get a bad impression of NYC, because of what we see on television. As a matter of fact, I was a little paranoid about riding the subway and being in Central Park at first. But, as long as you stay with the crowd, it is actually a pretty safe place. I think Rudy Guiliani really cleaned up the city while he was there as well. There were people cleaning the sidewalks early in the morning, and it was really impressive. I think that our whole country could learn a lot from this city. Interesting discussion that you have started here. Have a great day!

thank you! yes.. i think that is what this discussion may serve a purpose too as well, so people will just stop thinking about what the media hyped about the other countries, or cities! we ought to get the experience from those who have been to these places.

I haven't gone to other countries, I have visited places in the Philippines which is my country, so far the best place I had gone to is Baguio City. I enjoy the cool climate, that even it's a sunny day you won't get perspired. The city is not over populated that's why it's not crowded. There are so many wonderful places you can go and enjoy. The Burham Park with beautiful flowers around. You can go cycling, boating or just walk and stroll. The Mines View Park, the Grotto, Camp John Hay,the Strawberry Farm and so many others. You can go horseback riding and you'll enjoy shopping their native products at low low prices. I won't forget those towering pine trees, their fresh fruits and vegetable. If there's a place I'd like to visit always, it's no other than Baguio City.

Best place in the world to me: My bed each time I go sleeping after a long day of stress, fun, food, study, etc. Now talking real and aside jokes, I would probably go to Bali since is awesomely beautiful and considered the last paradise in the world. Secondly probably the Easter Island or even New Zealand. Easter Island is like an Indiana Jones Adventure turned reality and New Zealand is New Zealand, I really love the tropical+weird animal+funny culture that they have :3

I have not been to many places at all..but Once I had gone Singapore which I liked very much. The city was so clean and the people were very polite and respectfull. Though the areas like China town and Mustafa was crowded but it was very much fun hanging around..I was there at the time of Chinese New Year. I got many experience avout their cultures..

It's always hard to pick a favorite place, but I loved visiting Athens, Greece. I had always wanted to see the Acropolis, so when I finally did, it was like fulfilling a dream. I loved everywhere I went in Greece. The people were friendly, I loved all the outdoor cafes and restaurants, and there is so much history right at your fingertips. Combine all that with being surrounded by the Mediterranean, and it's just a wonderful place to visit. I hope you get there! There are lots of other great spots, like London (where I lived for a couple of years), Hawaii (beautiful plant life), Cozumel (lovely Mayan temples of Mexico), and Paris. Oh, and did I mention New York City? All fantastic. My dream is to see Egypt and the Pyramids one day. How about you?
