Where do you see yourself in 5 years

Will you find the love of your life? Will you be married? Will you get a new car or house? Will you be successful in a new job? I hope that people are thinking of positive things in 5 years and are not going to give up hope. Do you even think that you'll be alive in 5 years, because of the year 2012? In 5 years I hope to be in a stable job or just finishing graduate school and finding a nice job, so that I can earn a living. Hope to be happy and maybe dating or looking for someone to date. =) What about you?

My future in 5 years could go a couple ways...ether way I'm hoping to be done with college... I'll either be working as a social worker, hopefully moved out of my parents house by then, but who knows. I would LOVE to be out of Arizona! Maybe move to Colorado or Texas...somewhere like that to be a social worker. Probably wherever I can find a job! lol And if I'm not a social worker I'll hopefully be working at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. I want a job like that because it would be great experience when it comes to opening my own animal sanctuary (which I hope to do!) I don't know about any other aspects...I probably won't have a new car, might be living in a new house or apartment...don't know about the love of my life...hehe

It seems that you are more career orientated. That is very good that you are focused on those things. I wish I knew what I wanted to do. My major is international studies and the unfortunate thing with that, is that it is a broad major where I can go into anything. Due to it being so broad, I have no idea where to go with it!! Good luck with your animal sanctuary business and with becoming a social worker. I'm glad you replied to my post. =)

Oh it took me forever to figure out what I wanted to do! I worked for 2.5 years at a Pet Hotel after high school because I didn't know what I wanted to do. And then one day *bang!* It hit me! Social worker for kids...that's what I wanted to do! lol So I started school when I was 21. Then during my first semester I started thinking about starting an animal sanctuary...so I've added some business classes to my college courses. What kind of things do you like to do? What are your interests?

That's cool that you found out what you want to do with your life. I am still trying to figure my stuff out. I'm interested in teaching but I don't want to be a teacher. I know that a lawyer, ophthalmologist, and a dentist all pay well but it is really hard to become any of them. I hope I get that "bang" one day and I figure it out. =)

My funny answer would be in a mirror! lol... I know, that was a bad joke! I hope to be a mommy and have my degree in education so I can be a teacher. I am also hoping that my husband will have finished his masters degree and we can be earning a little more money than we are today. It would be nice to live in a nice house and be able to travel a lot.

That is a funny answer, you get one point for humor. =) Good luck with being a mom and becoming a teacher. One day maybe your son/daughter will be in your class and you can teach him/her. I also want to earn a little bit more and one of my ultimate dreams is to travel the world. =) Good luck to the both of us.

In 5 years I hope that my husband and I have found a different place to live. We have found an island where we want to live, but we are still looking for the right house. We have to find a house that we both like and a house that we can afford. I am an artist and a writer. I have had art exhibitions before, but I would like to rent a room at one of the big museums. I hope to sell more paintings and more photomanipulations. I also hope to finish my collection of poems and my collection of short stories. And I hope to travel a lot and visit many different countries.

Hi Porcospino: An island. That sounds like a very romantic place to live and it's better if you're planning to look for the house that fits you with your husband. I wish you'll find a nice source of inspiration in your new home. Thanks for your answer. Alvaro.

Hi eddy spaguetti: Basically, what I can say is that we don't have the power to know the future but we can make plans... I Have no idea if I'll be married in 5 years, probably not but I hope to have a Job in 2015. I'll work in Bogotá in 2011-2012, then I'll study in Poitiers, France for probably one or two years so in 2015, I'll be back at home and I wish I'll be a good professional having the job I wish to have. Thanks. Alvaro

Still here in the very same house with my family enjoying my life and just relaxing. My daughters would have graduated by that time and all problems would be over- i hope so. I would live happily with my family.

That's good that you have a very stable life. I like your avatar picture. Do you play chess often? Lol, college can be very troublesome both for the student and th parent. I hope your daughters do well and find good jobs. =)

That's a scary question! I don't know where I see myself in five years - five years is so far away and yet so close. But, yes, I think I will still be around then (or at least the rest of the world will be, haha) because I don't think that the world is ending in 2012. :)

That's okay. "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift! That is why it is called the present!" - Master Ugway(Kung Fu Panda) So by that quote, maybe one should really live for today and not to worry about the past or the future too much. =)

In 5 years I hope to be out of debt or atleast almost out. I have just started a new job which I love so I am going to start paying down my huge debt load and than start saving to buy a house. I hope to have my own home by the time i'm 40. So that gives me 7 years. At least thats the plan and i'm gonna try to stick to it!!

hi eddyspaghetti, Five years from now, I see myself already graduated from my Masteral Degree. I am also earning good money and have stable jobs. I am working in a school both private and public and a part time instructior in different colleges. I also see my younger sister able to finish her Masteral Degree in teaching and have stable job as well. I see my family having a good life and do not worry much on money. I see them having a good time helping people who needs help. I also see my older sister happily married and having obedient and smart kids. With my lovelife, I see myself married to my present boyfriend. Five years from now, I am living with him in USA and we will often visit my family in the Philippines. We have pretty and handsome kids and doing many charities. I see my future very bright because I know God will be with me all the days of my life.
