How often do you eat??

normally people eat foods at the gap between 3 hrs..Are you also the same or how often do you eat a day??

I used to eat twice a day, never being particularly bothered with breakfast and not really being able to stomach anything before about 11am anyway. This was possibly due to work pattern. At times i'd work through and not bother with lunch either, but cook a nice big meal in the evening. Now i'm taking it easier i tend to eat all 3 meals, breakfast, dinner and tea (i know some people use diff terms to describe the 3 meals ;)

i eat three regular meals daily..sometimes, i eat fruits or i have juice or tea in between them.

Well, eating food in a gap is recommended and it is a good habit. I eat in the morning as a breakfast, then lunch, evening snacks and finally dinner. It is four and sometimes its five when i go out it is more.. My foods are not heavy that I cannot digest. I eat in a gap and a small amount of food which my stomach can digest. Well, eating food i.e.small amount of food result in you chewing more, giving your stomach a head start in the digestive process.

I'm definitely not one of those kind of people who need to eat food every three hours although I do like to eat quite frequently. I usually eat around 3 meals a day and sometimes will snack in between. i find that when i do snack i can be hungry sometimes but i also am thirsty. the water helps to balance my body out and i feel a lot better and can get on with what i'm doing.

yes...my mealtime! depend on the my condition and situation or how much money i have at that time. so now i stay at boarding house, i'm still a University student so that as you know the financial as student is very limited and we must save for the money. if i'm at boardinghouse , i usually get meal just once a day. different if i'm at my own house, i get meal whenever i like and usually more than thrice i get meal... Thank you

You got it right... I normally feel hungry every 3 hrs after eating. Ha ha During childhood I don't like to eat and eat. I don't feel eating most often. I brought that attitude till puberty. I don't eat much just to maintain a small waistline. I don't know why... Ha ha. And I do various activities even if I'm hungry already. Guess that caused me my acidity resulting to ulcer... Ha ha. When I got in college that's the time I eager to eat much especially now that my cousin's bakeshop is opened within our compound. Ha ha... I do nothing in the store but to eat breads. On school days that's when I realized the 3-hour gap of hungriness. I wake up early in the morning then eat my breakfast. Then, after 3 hours of fixing myself and traveling to school I get hungry immediately when I reach the classroom. But I have to wait till the break for another 3 hours if I can't go to the canteen immediately. I'll buy a meal once I reach the canteen. The next break after 3 hours I'm gonna buy a light snack. On the dismissal after another 3 hours I'll get hungry again and I'll buy another snack. So expensive... Thus, I normally eat 5 times a day including dinner... if that is I don't get to the canteen immediately when I reach the classroom and feel very hungry. If I do then it'll be 6 times a day. Eating makes my belly fat and not the entire body. Bad. Though it is not that fat. A little only.

I definitely eat the three main meals of the day, and then if needed will have a snack between the first two and another snack in the afternoon. I feel better if I do not eat a snack after the evening meal, before bed. I am working on having smaller portions at my meals as well.

mmm just depends on my mood on if i eat breakky of not. long as i get my coffee i'm happy, i can only go 2 cups a day thou. i will eat lunch most days but if i'm not hungry i won't. but i will eat dinner. i have also found since eating less, it's helped with my weight loss. i also can't go and pig out on food. which i find is a good thing.

Hello If you see you can know how much time i will eat. I will be lean and i just eat 3 times a days and some snacks in the evening time. In some hectic schedule i will skip Breakfast or even lunch. Cheers

Hello there prateek149... well, i usually eat 3 meals a day.. breakfast, from 6 to 6:30 am... lunch, 12:00-12:30.. dinner, 5:30 until before 6..:D Have a nice day!

It is really hard to say. I do not work my schedule around the times that I eat. I really work my eating around the schedule. There can be a period of several hours where I will not be able to eat most days. Therefore, I am going to eat pretty much whenever I have the time. That is pretty much the reason why I get into the habit of eating breakfast. I never know when I will have time to eat later in the day. So it really depends. On average, I would have to say about 4 or 5 hours. Perhaps slightly more, perhaps it will be slightly less. I take what I can get a lot of the time. I would have to say that breakfast is early in the morning as possible. Lunch is around noon or as soon as possible depending on various things. Then of course at about five or so dinner happens. Maybe a snack or two depending on circumstances.

I eat every time I'm hungry. And I'm hungry very often as I'm a person who consumes very quickly my energy. If I do not eat when I'm hungry I feel tired and lacking in force. It is true that the gap is generally 3 hours between meals and sometimes less. It depends on what I eat and how much physical or mental effort I did.

I eat like once a day only. I mean my full meal is when I get home. I don't seem to enjoy eating at work. Aside from the fact that I really budget my money, it's also expensive in our pantry. But I eat snacks like every hour lol! happy mylotting!

Wow! its funny discussion but not so funny cause its needed for all....... I have no definite time to eat anything but i am watching some people who are maintaining this sort of habit for eat. They divide the time for eating. When i feel hungry then i will eat. Normally i have not counting time .. In the morning i take my breakfast and one and half an hour later taking some snack, in afternoon take my lunch, in evening time ones again taking some snacks and last but not least i take my supper at night..

I cannot actually determine the gap between every meal I eat. I do eat as frequent as I want to eat. I believe that my metabolism is very fast because I easily get hungry almost every hour of the day. I don't get easily satisfied with every meal I take no matter how much I have eaten for that meal. I want to taste different kinds of food everyday. Eating is one of my hobbies. I cannot stand a single minute making myself crave for something delicious.

eat well and balance with exercise  - maintain a good figure is a great motto!
most of the time i usually eat 4 to five times a day. morning breakfast around 7 or 8am,morning snack around 10 am or so. lunchtime 12pm,afternoon merienda around 4 or 5 pm. dinnertime 7 or 8pm,sometimes late depending on the merienda stuff. sometimes our mirienda/snacktime in afternoon is heavy one so we ate dinner most of the time,late night.it depends on what kind of food are we eating.if we feel hungry after that,there will also have a late night snack. we really don't like eating here! that's why most of us here at house are gaining more and more weight. we balance it by exercising then...when comes to mind!

I usually eat 5 times a day. Breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. I don't have definite time for snacks. I'll just eat when I feel hungry.
