'Repetition does not transform a lie into the truth.' ---Theodore Roosevelt Do you agree with this statement? Or do you think that repeating a lie is enough to turn into a truth? Why? Which are the boards that keep lies and truth apart?

How the heck would repeating a lie turn it into the truth? You might convince your mind that it is true. I see people do that. They believe a lie so much to them it's the truth. But these people are nearly skitzophrenic and paranoid!

I agree with Teddy. it is like saying "two wrongs doesn't make one right". A lie is a lie and no matter how you repeat it, it is still is a lie. Like for instance you will tell people that you have been to let's say China, but the fact is you never went to China. Do you think by repeating that would reverse to the fact that you have been to China? of course not. Truth is always based on facts or realities. A lie is always based on something unreal or half real. The fact is these two is as opposite and absolute as the polarity of the north and south poles, or of the positive and negative poles in your battery. The mark is distinguishable when put into light.

If you shout something over and over again, you only get hoarse, you do not change the nature of the statement. Now some things we call lies and truth are not empirical. They cannot be proven or disproven. Those things are actually faith, or opinion. It is still mighty hard to convince people in those realms as well. Truth is something that can be proven and documented. Even having a lot of people believe something does not transform a lie into the truth.
